Linked with Kieron Freeman and Ryan Tunnicliffe both at Pompey

Are you after both? We're definitely after Tunnicliffe, possibly as a swap for Luke McCormick plus cash from Pompey. Cowleys have said they're no longer interested but they were last summer and a little bird tells me that's for public consumption rather than what's actually happening. Tunnicliffe won't be short of offers from higher up though.

Supposed to have put an offer in for Freeman and it was mentioned that we were also interested in Tunnicliffe, same piece mentioned yourselves and also several unnamed league 1 clubs

We're getting linked with Joshua Kayode from Rotherham. Any thoughts, Carlisle fans?

Tunnicliffe would be a ridiculous signing for any league 2 club. His performance vs us last season was one of the best I saw in league 1.

He looked very good for Rotherham at Pools, when we actually playing well.
Would be a cracking signing.
An awful shame that he isn’t coming in which case.

We badly need a striker before the window shuts and I’m increasingly worried it may not happen

David Amoo now signed for Stevenage. Unfortunately with us we rarely played a way under DC that best suited him. Maybe lost a little pace but as an impact player off the bench he can still more than do a job there so this could be a smart little addition.

Chuffed for Dave. Never moaned and always gave his all even when he didn’t get much of a look in last season. Glad he’s stayed in the EFL. Amooooooo!

Stevenage looking good under Evans, could be a shrewd signing that.

Deffo not happening? Get that on The Fishy and claim top spot in Ska's league table mate.

Betsy quashed rumours of a fall out with Nick Tsaroulla who we haven't seen all season. Seems he has been injured and missed 8 weeks because of it.

Betsy did say there would be players who are leaving. He said they do not fit into what we are trying to do (get relegated with the least points ever?) and it does not mean (royal) we do not respect them.

Be interested to see how this works out, Wild was great at plucking gems out of nowhere for Halifax.
Pawel started his career at Oldham as a youth player and then went to Everton. I'm sure that Pete Wild was part of the team running the Oldham youth set up at the time - so he'll have a lot of knowledge about him.

Looks like the arsehole McCormick could finally be on his way to Bristol Rovers. He was decent at best last season nothing more. Most Wimbledon fans will be glad to see the back of him. What's he going to do if Rovers get relegated, throw his toys out of the pram again and say he's too good for league 2. He thinks he his better than he actually is .

Rhys Oates is out for a few months with a ruptured pectoral muscle which is a absolute disaster and makes it very important we get a striker or two in somehow before the window ends.

Gutted for him, he had a slow start last season mostly due to being played out of position, in the second half he was one of the better strikers in the division and I was hoping he be able to carry that on.

Everybody seems to be after a striker. We are looking anxiously - especially if McKirdy goes for the reported £500,000+ to Hibs, Luton, Charlton etc

That will be a big miss for you lot.

Rhys has really kicked on from his first spell at pools, was massive for us second time round in getting us promoted. Exactly the mould of forward we are crying out for to play up top with Umerah this season.

We had Callum Morton do that two seasons ago when on loan from WBA.

He was out September to March, I think. It's a difficult injury because you don't know until further down the recovery road whether an operation is needed or not.

This is what baffles me with PH, You would expect having taken on the job he would have videos
From our promotion season and seen our wingbacks/fullbacks influence on the performances.
Yet he tells (we think) the 2 wide players to stay there and get crosses in to Josh.

And he seems happy for Josh Umerah to fight with either CB all game, which we all know
Is what a CB loves, What they don,t like is a CF who drops off leaving a hole in front of them.

How often did we see Oates pick the ball up deep and turn and run at the defence, Causing chaos.

From what i,ve seen of Sterry he seems frustrated as fuck with Hastie in front of him.
But thats the managers doing.

I feel really sorry for Umerah, imo he is the only signing who has looked even remotely up to the task. Spends all game fighting for aimless balls up to him, battling and chasing shadows, and on the occasion he wins it and holds it up, there’s not a blue and white shirt within 30 yards of him. Must be as frustrating for him as it is for us having to watch the same shite week in week out.

I thought you said on an earlier thread he was worth half a million at least. Also last season ( when he last played ) I think you'll find most Wimbledon fans were raving about him. Hopefully we won't get relegated. Not sure I could stomach another season in the fourth.

Its quite bizarre that a manager can't see what virtually 4500 other people can.

He’s going under the knife this week or next according to Clough.

Where has this rumour come from? Widely posted on twitter but only by our own supporters.

Not a great fan of ex players returning, it rarely works out.
