I fully expect him to not be as useless as he was last season with you and he must have something considering his international pedigree, but he is easily one of the worst loan signings we’ve ever made.

If he's over his personal problems it's a good signing in my opinion. Should suit your style well too, I reckon. I'd have had him here but sounded like he needs to be at London club.

He nearly came to us last season as he lives nearby, chose Exeter instead (think his dad played for them or something) didn’t settle and then couldn’t be loaned out to another EFL team. Showed promise at Barnet though, so I think that’s a solid signing.

I would say so, his form for us 2 seasons ago and Barnet last season was good. Play to his strengths and he should do well.

Ultimately for us he didn't into Wellens style of football which was the main reason he was moved on.

He has had issues with gambling in the past, but every London club he's played for he's shown his best form so being close to his family clearly helps him.

though he seems to somehow have an issue with Mansfield fans when it was the manager he didn’t work out with.

We tried him again at the end of the season and he got a goal against wimbledon but his all round attitude wasn’t what you’d want from a professional.

Personally again wish him well, just didn’t work out. Shame.

If walsall keep him fit they’ve a good chance of a top half finish, they dipped away after we recalled him.

I don’t get that at all, DJ didn’t work out here, he didn’t fit cloughs style, that’s the end of it.

There seems to be something of nothing where some walsall fans think he’s got some big vendetta against us or something! given those on twitter i’ll assume they’re still at school.

Our wing backs are basically a front three with Langstaff 90% of the time anyway. You don’t want a defender there, just someone who is fast (Nemane) or has seven lungs (Chicksen) so they can get back to stop counter attacks.

We definitely will. Even just from our transfers which seem about done now, we’ve added to a team that scores millions but everyone thinks is dodgy defensively… precisely zero defenders, but one of League One’s top scorers, our latest mercurial number ten and two wingers who we’re going to turn into wing backs.

We're not the benchmark. But I'm confident we'll have a better squad than last season. Time will tell.
