Any Crewe/Gills/Donny fans got a view on Scott Robertson? Looks like he's our first go at filling the giant hole we have in midfield.

2 in, 3 out for us being suggested. I’d imagine the 3 will be loans but 2 currently injured so they’ll be late in Jan (O’Toole and Gale) also been told Boeteng to Swindon potentially. He’s got 18 month left so can only presume that’ll be a loan if it’s true.

If we can offload Boeteng and JJOT though that’ll certainly free up some wages to cover Gregory on loan for the rest of the year.

O’Toole be difficult to shift, he came in on a free and did really well and Donny were desperate for him and kept making bigger offers so will be on a good contract, basically just been injured for a year non-stop at this point.

Hiram Boateng is a good signing for any L2 side, just does not quite suit how we set up now with the diamond not got the legs for it, but a very good player in a flat 4 or 3. He ended last season really strong to be fair but just can’t get back in the eleven now, injury prone too.

Gale just is not ready, I’m not fully convinced he ever will be but a loan in the conference is ideal for him.

All I want is a striker, and if Boateng leaves another midfielder.

A central defender is probably also high up the list

How far from a return is Cedwyn?

Another loan for the wheeling and dealing injury hit Hatters.

And do you know what's frightening?

He's miles better than some of the shit that half this league have spent fortunes on.

If you're looking at this going "oh, is that annoying tosser Stocky talking about my club?"

The answer is most likely "yes".

He should be better than most for £5k a week.

Think O’Toole will just be a loan with a percentage of his wages being paid. Works for all, he can put himself in the shop window in the summer then because he isn’t going to get a contract half as good as the one he’s had here for the last 2 1/2 years.

Boateng big wages and like you say barely features, has he actually played since Quinn came back from injury?

Defintely need a striker.

I think you could argue a striker is higher on the list than a centre-back. Rawlinson and Brindley are rubbish (Tipton probably is too) when Cameron/Baldwin/Macari aren’t available but I’d argue watching Morias (if he’s even ever fit) try and replace Langstaff or Didzy would be a million times worse.

I think it'll be easier to bring in a CB though, or at least there will be more options. It's presumably quite a small list of players who are both definitely better than Morias but happy sitting behind Langstaff and McGoldrick. Whereas I reckon we're still after an upgrade on Macari and even if they aren't better, there would always be more game time in a back 3.

Centre back probably depends a bit on shifting someone out - wouldn't be the biggest shock to see Rawlo join up with either Ardley at York or Doyle at Woking, I don't think.

Looks hugely underwhelming but there’s a video of him jinking past 3 Chelsea U23 players and scoring and he’s played more passes than any other Fleetwood player so Williams is going to turn him into the League 2 Iniesta

To be honest, looks pretty much the kind of signing that keeps working for us. Very highly rated as a kid at Celtic but flattered to deceive so far in England with obvious potential. Hopefully add it to the Crowley, Bostock, Jones list of players like that finding a home.

One of the less shit players from our worst side for 40 years 2 seasons ago. Very committed, loves a tackle but his discipline and fitness were certainly weaknesses of his and an injury cut his loan short with us.

I'm not sure what he's been like at Fleetwood but I'd argue you could sign a lot worse than Robertson.

Committed and loves a tackle sounds like what we are currently missing. Matt Palmer's heat map is basically the majority of the pitch. We need someone who can get about

Actually thought there was a decent player in him at League One level, he was pretty young and playing in a team that was starting to be dismantled by our ex chairman

Bristol Rovers were signing him for £800k(!) but a paperwork issue scuppered it on deadline day. He's out of contract in the summer, though.

Rumour or end of Lewis Cass to Harrogate, would be a decent singing in league two, was very good in our promotion season before injury.

Meanwhile, Crawley keen on Conference south midfielder but may not be able to afford the wages he is demanding.

We may turn our attention to a up and coming prospect in the Dog & Duck 2nd eleven.

Gregory is exactly what we need, we create more than everyone else just not clinical enough at times. Hopefully Flint is having a word!

There are some pretty strong rumours knocking about regarding gregory.

We’re criminally wasteful infront of goal, whereas we’ve a better defence than stockport and wrexham (think we could all argue over midfield) the conversion rate to chances converted has got to be up there with the worst in the league could do with a madden type player, though DKD already on 13.

Mad to think that without that lucky deflection for your first goal you would’ve been heading into injury time only leading 1-0 and I think we all know what would’ve happened then.

Y'all will have a field day with this one.

Johnson Clarke Harris is actually signing for a L1 club next month as he doesn't want to drop any lower than L1 and it's likely going to be for us, but don't worry Wrexham fans because I'm sure you'll have 'dodged a bullet' on this one too and we'll have 'done you a favour' again.

Yeah, we’d have won 1-0.

But aren’t you a L2 club in waiting
