But “a top half league 1 team”
Carver, come on.

We'll see who else we sign before the window shuts of course but right now I don't fear any other team in this league and they should all be worrying about what we can do to them.

None of them have impressed me yet with their signings so far and I don't expect them to because a lot of these players our so called promotion rivals have signed are mostly a couple of old Stockport rejects and other meh players who just won't hack it in the league above.

What an awful post.

That post there is an embarrassment to not only our club but to yourself. Why cant you just post like a normal football fan?

You consistently bring shame on our club and our fans.

You’re a disgrace.

How am I a disgrace? I'm just explaining what's true and I'm sure Bradford fans would even agree.

Also aren't you that fan who always says negative things about us and says we'll get relegated every year? I think it's you who's the real disgrace to our club and fans spreading such negativity and you aren't exactly what you'd call a normal fan.

Sometimes it only takes one quality player like a Charlie Wyke to lift the rest of the team up to another level.

I'm sure that he can be a real talisman for us.

Just look at Wrexham with Mullin, without him they would still be down here.

Mullin was out until September last season.

He's a talismanic player for sure but you need more than one. We had him, Lee and McClean really driving us on last year, backed up by consistent performers like O'connor, O'Connell, Okonkwo, Evans and Cannon. Very few passengers.

Good luck to him, I think he'll have a good career. No point staying with us, he'd just have been passed around on loan and released in 2 years.

Kyle Cameron’s brother in law is spreading on Twitter he’s been made to train with the’B team’ (didn’t know we had one). If anyone wants a centre-back who gets his family to have a tantrum on his behalf on social media every time he’s unhappy.

Would quite like to see the back of him personally
Was he the one who said that anyone who hasn't played the game didn't have a clue or something along those lines ? even though his manager at the time had never played pro

We proved a few years ago that you don't need a talisman to win this division, just a great team effort. Our top scorer scored 9 league goals.

Wyke is a great signing for Carlisle, but they'll need a lot more than just a good forward to go up.

He is the one with the ratty redneck haircut who looked out of his depth every time we put a ball into their box the season we went up.

MK done some really impressive work. He was outstanding in the playoffs. Crawley must barely have anyone left from last season now.

Another very strong signing for MK Dons. As kieran says he was the standout player in the play off final.

Whilst we will agreee with you (mostly) that our club is a shit show, I'm not sure most would be convinced about the delusions you have of your own club tnh. In our current owners first season in charge we got to Wembley with the league 1 playofs, everyone thought they were the dogs bollocks but over the long term the have been exposed. TBH it wouldn't surprise me to see the same with owners like yours, Gillingham's and other new shiny owners knocking about as they eventually get bored of losing millions of pounds every year to watch crap football in front if 4 figure crowds. Whilst your owners came in after the start of last season, you still finished comfortably bottom and your January window was how I expected it to be with American owners, names to get fans giddy rather than a structured squad. You bought Lewis from us because he had popularity but was statistically the second worse performing keeper in the league below, Armstrong again had fallen off a cliff and if you ask Rotherham fans about Wyke they'd tell you he can't complete 90 minutes and was a spent force. So lets wait and see before making grand declarations.

.......... we'll at last be sorted enough to absolutely steam roll this tinpot league with Charlie Wyke being our 30 goal a season striker who let's be honest, would walk straight into any L1 team and you know it!

Also don’t forget that last season he was banging them in for Rotherham up in the Championship.

Banging IT in.

He score ONE goal for Rotherham and that was on April Fool's Day :fl:

We're signed Max Sanders from Orient. Don't know much about him but he's a midfielder who was apparently our number one target before Ethan Robson, but we weren't able to get him earlier on. We missed out on Robson but then Sanders became available for us...
Played 30 odd times for Orient last season in the league above, also played quite a few games at Lincoln. So looks a decent pick up. Leaves us with some good experience and depth in midfield. Thomas, Powell and Sanders along with 2 of our own in Tabiner and Holicek.
Sanders is an interesting one. Only started 54 league games despite being 25. Joel Tabiner has started 42 and he's 5 years younger. Still, looks like a decent pick up and some much needed depth in midfield, given Conor Thomas' fitness record and Jack Powell's who knows when recovery from his ACL.

Covered in midfield, just need a GK, LB, experienced CB, winger and striker now.
Sanders was a tidy player for us, had a couple of good games playing in that number ten role. But as mentioned, doesn't start as many as he should as he appears to be a bit injury prone.

Suprised we've sold him tbh, he was in the last year of his contract and we've made a small profit on him. I can only assume we're trying to fund bringing another target in or Sanders wanted out.
As The Terminator says, Sideways Sanders played so few games because he's constantly got some sort of niggle. He wasn't good enough for L1 and Wellens has probably thought the same and seemed stuck in that PL U21 mindset with us of playing the game at half pace.

He might have shown a bit more at Orient but he's a very 'meh' player, you watch him and not entirely sure what he's good at. He's not tall, not strong, not quick, doesn't score, doesn't assist...he's just, well, there.

I'm hopeful our club will emulate the likes of Brighton, Brentford etc and not end up like yours.

I don't know what went wrong for you exactly but I do just keep hearing your fans refer back to the itv digital saga as still being the main reason for your downfall to this day.

Quite sad really that you're still blaming something that happened a long long time ago despite having new owners since.

Sounding like Jasoni Daða Svanþórssyni is actually signing for us. Is anyone going to attempt to out-silly us? Notts, I'm looking at you.
