Is this yet another club those guys own or are County deciding to be above board this time?

Nah we haven’t expanded into the Norwegian market just yet.

They’re only minority owners of Viborg I think anyway so it wasn’t some Watford/Udinese moving players around thing. Just presumably helped somewhat in noticing the big man.

Great ain’t it. Just hope it doesn’t mean we sell Jatta - although thinking logically probably makes it less likely as this guy is gonna need to get a visa and is coming from a league on its summer break so won’t be up to speed for weeks. Feels very much like the Jatta signing last January and getting ahead of the game for a sale in the summer.

Exactly. Also more likely he won't be as demanding will be happy to spend time on the bench as he gets up to speed but still allows a level of rotation.

If he does indeed come in for another six figure sum then he should be nicely setup to start next season. As we all know Jatta was ahead of the curve last season and kicked on this.

Apparently we’re interested in Corey Addai.

We’re also interested in

Crawley Town: Addai, Conroy, L Kelly, Maguire, Lolos (Roles 52), Orsi, Forster (Gordon 41), J Kelly, Williams (Tsaroulla 65), Campbell (Darcy 52), Wright (Mukena 46)
Subs not used: Sandford, Adeyemo

Some chatter about him coming to us, but it will only be if we pay a fraction of his wages.

We might pay more if Donovan Wilson leaves. Wilson is quick, strong, and can finish, at least he is about 2 games per season, the rest of time he’s a lazy half arsed fecker. Gills would be welcome to him. When he goes that will be last of the Hurst close season signings that wasted the FA Cup run funds.
Palmer isn’t heading to Grimsby, even if he was free.

Wilson is expected to depart but it MAY be a loan to NL after tomorrow’s league deadline

Just furlough everyone at the club and run a crowdfund again to buy a Danish club yourselves

Be a relief to see him gone. He and Pyke have blighted our forward options for over a season and a half, taking up two squad berths and a decent chunk of wage. Wilson signing also pushed Orsi down the order leading to his departure and 20+ goals for Crawley. Rose has been godsend in comparison, epitomised by the goal yesterday that shifted the dial in the game.

It will be interesting to see how today pan's out for us really.

Obviously a lot of noise about Paul Mullin, some from Wrexham and talk doing the rounds apparently in the hospitality area's at Vale Park... that said do we need him? Probably not but would be a worry if Stockley was out for a period so the back up would be nice! We have been offloading strikers though and at the moment the form of Tolaj and Stockley as a two would be hard to break up.

Otherwise maybe the odd loan but don't see much movement in.

Outbound I think Ripley will go, rumoured to Swindon Town.

I'd like to see Shorrock go out on loan to get game time, although might have to see on Sang's suspension on that if it gets over turned. Chislett might have some suitors after seemingly falling out of favour and Connor Grant may need to leave to get game time elsewhere having not been able to break into Moore's side this season.

Reindorf off to Bristol Rovers instead now, tough to see what’s happened there as it’s Pete O’Rourke but it always felt weird how protracted it was.

A lot of Notts fans are convinced we need about 4 players but I don’t understand that view personally, you’re not bringing in 2-3 players on deadline day that are better than what we’ve got and I don’t think we need meaningless depth for the sake of it. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was just the one, hoping the Traore deal gets done of course.

Local Cardiff journo saying they’ve promised him more playing time than us, which makes sense, never really going to get a start ahead of Jatta or McGoldrick.

I’d be happy with one as well. Just think we need some cover upfront - if we can do that with a guy like Traore who is a succession plan for AJ then all the better.

Only other position I might be tempted to look at is goalkeeper, but that’s just because I’m terrified of Slocombe.

We’ve re-signed Romoney Critchlow on a perm from Peterborough. He was here a couple of seasons ago.

Very good CB at this level.

We had him on loan the season we got to the play offs. I really liked him. Good on the ball and in the air.

Yeah good player. Pretty quick too.

The story about what happened to his mum still blows my mind.

Very pleased with this.

Contract until the end of the season with the option of extending further in the summer.

Only signed for Fredrikstad for €300k a few months ago and has helped deliver a European place and the Norwegian cup. Must be pretty much all the Crowley money gone.

Respect that we’ve worked out the way to success in this league is gigantic strikers and not puny attacking midfielders.

Yeah, absolutely awful chain of events.

How he copes is beyond me.

Already looking forward to being told in 12-18 months time that "he looked poor when he played {insert club name} in that one game and no way is he worth the rumoured £400K" when there is interest from higher league clubs.

As was the case with the Gambian Prince a complete unknown so more risk attached. But when you have the supercomputer charged up I like risk. Delighted to get him in with next season in mind.

Assume you paid more than £300k for him then? If so that's a big old fee, but of course could be worth it he smashes them in. If you paid less then it's a curious business model from the selling club to get rid for a loss months after purchase, unless they had big buyers regret and see it as cutting their losses.

People at their end seem to think about the same, so around £250k. Big investment for sure.

That should quieten down the few who still baffling claim the owners aren't ambitious enough. We've sold 3 players for combined circa £1m and received compensation for two management teams. This fuels the ability to spend on players like we have. Reinvest the profits.

I feel all POSH at present which is a very good thing IMO.

Norwegian teams still have a quota system so it frees up a foreign player slot for them too

The reason we are looking at Reindoff is because first choice Omochere got injured a few weeks a go and the back up O'donkor was injured yesterday. Both look to be out for a few weeks at least. Thus leaving us with Sotiriou and Chris Martin. I understand we made a quick call yesterday to Cardiff to highjack your deal.

I’m not sure it made much sense for Cardiff to send him to us anyway given we have Jatta and McGoldrick and have also just signed Traore, game time would be very limited

I don't know how true this is but if you get him you'll have an imposing keeper who is great with the ball at his feet....until he has a brain fart where he passes it straight to the opposition. He will do this about once a month.
