Myrie Williams should be good at this level. Good signing for Tranmere.

Just don't print it like Port Vale used to. It used to irritate me every time I watched port vale.

Loves signing a former player Micky Adams does.

Maybe he's trying build the same side that got us promoted. Good signing for Tranmere though great player in that league on his day

We'll have Tom Pope please!

Pretty happy with JMW signing, finally got a bit of width in the side.

York has signed Emile Sinclair, woeful signing. There is a reason we paid him up even with 18 months left on his deal.

I knew that damned useless strikers thread was some sort of omen.

i liked Jennison and was disappointed he turned down contract to join mighty Scunthorpe who he claimed were bigger than Vale. From a guaranteed 10 goal a season winger albeit with 2 or 3 pennos thrown in he went to a bit part player who never got in the team. Definitely a good signing for Tranny based on Vale form, can appear half hearted at times but thats a winger for you . Good luck to the lad and a sure fire warning that the grass isn,t always greener but his wallet might be healthier !!

Good signing for us. Always be remembered for that goal at Leeds.

Emile Sinclair has signed for York. He'll probably be good for them but for us he was a lazy bottler.

Argyle have signed striker Ryan Brunt.

Below taken from an Argyle facebook page

The 21-year-old has agreed an 18-month contract at Home Park, subject to the necessary formalities, after leaving Vanarama Conference sideBristol Rovers.

Ryan comes to Argyle from the Memorial Stadium, he has spent a majority of this season playing in Sky Bet League 2.

The former Stoke City apprentice played six times for York City in October and November, and made five appearances for Stevenage between November and December before an ankle injury cut short his time at the Lamex Stadium.

Any Rovers fans care to shed any light?

We've signed David McAllister following his release from Shrewsbury. He played for us on a regular basis during his loan spell earlier this season, if he performs as well as he did then I'll be very happy.

Suggestion on our forum that we're still interested in Lee Barnard, could be something in it although someone would probably have to move on and there are no obvious candidates, certainly not up front anyway.

The Andrew Johnson thing seems to be dragging on a bit now and turning into a full blown SAGA. Everything off the pitch this season seems to have dragged, from transfers to players returning from injury.

Still not entirely sure he is what we need so I hope we arent waiting on him.

I wouldn't have him back here, he was poor when we had him on loan a couple of seasons ago and looked crap when he was playing for York at Prenton Park back in August.

Sounds like desperation from JS if that is the case. In any case, unless we went 3 up front, he would just be a bench warmer

Was gutted to see Alfie Potter go, I know he's not been on form too much this season and it was probably best for all involved, but he gave us Oxford fans some good times that's for sure!

Lots of Swindon fans rate him. He is quick, direct and can score. We have 4 real good forwards at the moment so his chances here are non existent.

Confirmed via TalkSport this morning

Apparently we have pulled out of signing Miles Storey as Swindon (allegedly) asked for us to pay more towards his salary then he currently earns?!?!

Update today is that the talks didn't happen on Monday, but will happen tomorrow. John Still seems very bullish with the way the pre-talks were going.
MK Franchise released a statement yesterday that they hoped to name a big name signing tomorrow - some were putting 2+2 together.

Bobbie Reid has returned to home park. About fucking time

Bobby Reid has returned to Home Park.
The Bristol City midfielder, who celebrates his 22nd birthday next month, re-joins Argyle on a fourth loan of the season, this time until the end of the Pilgrims' Sky Bet League 2 campaign.

Bobby played 13 times for John Sheridan's side during three one-month loans from Ashton Gate between late September-December last year.

With the young Bristolian at the centre of things in midfield, the Pilgrims won six times and drew four matches as they climbed from 14th to sixth place in the League 2 table.

We've apparently had a bid accepted by Middlesbrough for Charlie Wyke.

Opinions on him, Hartlepool fans?

Carlisle fans - I believe you have signed Charlie Wyke on a permanent deal. His is a hard working average player at league two level. Won't set the world on fire but over a season might get 10 to 12 goals. Most Wimbledon fans did not like him as thought he was slow but I though he was an ok loanee to us when we had him.

Not confirmed yet but the deal has been accepted apparently.

Boro youngsters seem to be decent when we sign them so hopefully this guy can prove useful as Danny Graham did a few years ago.

Signing strikers from Boro as a whole tends to work well for us... for a season or two at least :P
