Why do you think Lapslie is a bad signing; ability or attitude?

In reality I think he's an okay signing for Bradford but yeah went with BAD partly down to attitude and I don't see him as a player that will necessarily propel Bradford up the league. He's nailed on to score against us on Saturday though for sure.

Not expecting him to be the answer to all our problems to be fair. But would rather us take a punt on someone younger, playing well and regularly a level or two below than some journeyman who's been sat on a bench elsewhere.

I expect any signings Grimsby make to be completely under the radar and players most won’t have heard of. Will be interesting if the Jamestown Analytics model can work at the lower levels on the same way it has helped Brighton. So far lower levels teams in Belgium, Italy and Spain have seen a surge up the divisions with their help.

It actually nearly had the opposite effect, I’m back in work that night at 6 and with the early kick off it means I could possibly go and just about make it back on time but I can’t be arsed with the rush if I hit any sort of traffic so I won’t be risking it.

Rumour on our forum of Kyle Cameron coming in, currently on loan at St Johnstone from Notts...

Would be hypocritical for any Notts fan to truly claim Cameron’s awful after his season as captain in NL and then he started alright in L2 to be honest. I think he’s basically Aden Baldwin, individual attributes of a good footballer (big, strong, comfortable on the ball) but just completely incapable of not doing something stupid every 20 minutes - seemingly terrible attitude whenever something doesn’t go his way too but then you never really know what goes on behind the scenes etc…

I'm not sure Cameron will ever be a good defender. His positioning is too often suspect. The bits I've seen of him in Scotland showed the same weaknesses. Good on the ball going forwards. Good luck to him though.

Embleton might be a good signing, but like last year it's a lot to ask for these players to settle straight in, hit the ground running and turn us from the worst team into a mid-table/top half standard team.

It won't save us in the short term but will hopefully help us in the medium term.

There’s a weird formula with him, he does seem to get transfers slightly ahead of time but they’ll be with real certainty ‘xxxx set to sign for xxxx’

It’s the ‘4 random L1 and Champ clubs interested in xxxx’ that are very clearly bollocks used by agents to drum up interest or influence contract talks because no club with any sincerity is ringing up Pete and going ‘guess what, Huddersfield, Charlton, Barnsley and Orient have all asked how much he’d cost’…and if they are then they’re also acting in their own interest and therefore unreliable

Not a clue, that’s about 700 wing backs we have now so assume one is going. Made a fair few apps in the Championship so hopefully something about him.

Embleton is a class signing for us! He’s absolute streets ahead of L2 and by far the best midfielder in this league.
