Apparently he politely asked Dismal Darren why hapless Hackford was getting more game time than him.
He didn’t like that.
Hackford has been ‘fantastic’ for us.
We won’t see him again.
A real shame, seems like a decent bloke, not had a real chance unfortunately.

It’s somewhat frustrating that all of our strikers are best suited to playing in a two and only until recently the big man has been persevering with that 3-4-3. The moment he finally put round pegs in round holes suddenly the likes of Tolaj look like very good footballers. I suspect it’d be similar with Paton. Hopefully he can get some time at Dundee Utd. Not sure what it says about the SPL that a 5th choice striker at a L2 team is being sought after on loan by a team from that league mind.

Not sure how much trust I'd have in our rumours now after the Draper debacle but apparently we have 2 coming in this week a young lad from Crystal Palace who's an attacking midfielder and an as yet unnamed striker there's been a few whispers it could be Lukas Jutkiewicz from Birmingham.

Paton isn't good enough for this level, sorry.

Lovely guy, infectious personality and extremely likeable, but I think Vale fans are caught up in what they want him to be, rather than what he actually is.

You lot can now more or less put your feet up now, not a chance anyone is getting anywhere near you.

Be nice if you could play in first gear next weekend!

Looking forward to our game, should be a good one and a real test for our home record of only 1 defeat in 10 months.

What numbers will be travelling up do you reckon?

Possibly not but don’t think he has really had a chance to show either way. He’s been either out of position or up front alone.

Not sure why after spending all that money on him we’ve felt it better to swap for an untested kid from Palace either.

Hugill is meant to be well thought of at Man Utd so let's hope he can start banging them in for us!

He scored against us the other week for Wigan, a little light weight maybe but looked decent enough. Great scoring record for United youth and got a couple in League one for the Pie eaters. Looks a decent signing tbh

You may well be right, but he’s never had a fair go.
Hackford gets lots of opportunities and rarely impresses.

I thought he looked decent yesterday but if he has to play up front on his own, he may as well go back to United.

I'm guessing around a 1000 mate not 100%

Some absolute bed wetting from your lot over Draper, as though we're not allowed to reject an offer for one of our players and we intentionally started him yesterday to rub salt in the wounds (reality being we have injuries in attacking areas).

He needs to go out and get a good run of games in my opinion but I suspect our preference would be a loan.

yeah looks like he needs a foil to play against. An experienced target man maybe - we just let Jon Dadi Bodvarsson go, who would have been good for that sort of role, but he's signed for Burton.

Yeah some of our fans have been a bit over the top about accusing Lincoln of playing games to try and incite a bidding war lol .
I think it's what you said you need to bring more players in before anyone goes out.

Harrison Neale signs from Carlisle on a 2.5 yr deal. You Carlisle fans is, is this a good signing or are you glad to be rid of him ?

As I said the other day, I’m glad to be rid of him. Can’t knock his attitude but as you’ll soon find out, he has tree trunk legs and can’t run.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he does better at fleetwood though. Better quality around him to carry a player that can’t move.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
I think any Carlisle player is hard to judge really.

On paper you could say the entire lot and total and utter crap, have been for months, have terrible morale, poor attitude and lack passion and fight……..results suggest it.

But on other hand it’s a vipers pit at present, I’d say you could sign the best player in the division and a good possible chance he’d flop because the whole club would drop the performance while some of the crap here could possibly go elsewhere, fresh start, more eager and in form players around them and possibly turn themselves around.

You're always gonna get a few of them fans on Twitter or Facebook.

We should just move on and look elsewhere. We've made our effort, it's been rejected - now move on and look elsewhere. Walsall fans have a habit of clinging on to the hope of former players returning though.

Sounds like Paton been up for his medical today. Apparently Dundee Utd trying get it through in time to get him in the squad for the Dundee derby tomorrow. Wouldn’t have thought they’d get international clearance in time but that’s just me guessing.

I’d expect Luke Armstrong to be out the door tomorrow. A little over 12 months after joining. A disastrous transfer from start to finish.
