Boro gave us a good hard game for 70 mins, we just had enough to ease past them in the end despite our widespread changes. Traore causing chaos as he does whenever I see him, and behind they looked like Monk has made them an organised outfit.

Highlights for us have to be Callum Wilson looking like the Wilson of old, turning defenders all over the place. And making his debut from the youth team, Jack Simpson scoring one, winning the penalty for another, and generally looking composed beyond 19 years. Nice left boot.

Wolves were superb tonight, but Bravo was world class for City it has to be said, he dealt with several one-on-ones and was imperious in the shootout.

I'd like to highlight this was our reserve side. A Man City team that can score 5+ goals a game against most teams in the Premier League cannot break down Wolves reserves in 120 minutes. So proud of this club, the Nuno revolution.

I suspect this is what we have to look forward to if we get promoted to the Premier League, excuses such as opposition managers complaining about the ball...

Man City expected to roll us over as they have done every other team this season (talking of breaking club records and Aguero's goalscoring record). Little Wolves (reserves) from the Championship could stop their superstars from scoring all game and they didn't like it.

In 2017 we have beat Stoke, Liverpool, Southampton, drawn with Man City and lost narrowly to Chelsea. Not bad going for a Championship club.

Oh I still wouldn't have him, I was never that impressed with him when he was Barca's keeper. However he tends to raise his game considerably when he plays for Chile and he played last night in the form he shows with them. The guy City have got now though is a more consistently excellent number 1.
