so let me get this right - IF you include penalties Morecambe have won 3 out of 3 - and Bolton have lost 3 out of 3...
fun old game this football ain't it.....

I said it after our game on Saturday and I'll say it again now - this Morecambe team is not the Jim Bentley one we've become accustomed to. They're going to be horrible for whoever plays against them.

Didn't realise this was happening... or that Everton were in it. What a weird old season this is. We're yet to score a competitive goal this season, or play a home game, and the team that knocked us out of the Carabao Cup have already in turn been knocked out themselves.

Needed to happen. Fans love McCall but we're sick of being fobbed off about the quality of the squad and the lack of transfer activity.

We have a very good recent record v Bradford, one defeat in the last 11
I believe so it’s wasn’t beyond the realms of possibility to lose to us last night. I wasn’t expecting it to be as comfortable, you did have a few chances to score though.

Harrogate humped 3-zip by West Brom. Manc Hobby Club losing 2-0 at Goodison.

Third round looks like this for League Two:

Leyton Orient vs. Tottenham Hotspur (Live on Sky)
Morecambe vs. Newcastle United
Newport County vs. Watford

‘mon the minnows!

Dare I say it wasn't a 0-5 game, despite our howlers, but no question you deserved the win and comfortably so. And as for the other end, you can probably see why we've not scored in three games.

I think we could have scored at least one more and you could easily have scored a couple as well. I wasn’t impressed by your forwards, SM has a huge job on his hands.

Awful game to watch but a win is a win. Annoying that we finally get a decent cup game and no bugger can be in the ground.
Really hope you get Sky coverage.
Mind you who are Man United playing !!!

Only Orient have made the telly, I’m afraid. The games they’ve picked are fair enough tbh.

Orient-Spurs (6pm Tues)
Luton-ManUre (8.15pm Tues)
Fleetwood-Everton (7:45 Weds)
Lincoln-Liverpool (7:45 Weds)

How much does the club get for Sky coverage these days?

We, potentially, could earn a fair bit from the Carabao live stream. It's a 50/50 share of live streaming passes - well 70 odd per cent of that. Depends how many Toons can be bothered to toon in.

Technically a possibility that we could be guaranteed League Two representation in the fifth round, as Newport/Watford are drawn at home to Morecambe/Newcastle. Chance of two massive London clubs clashing in the fourth round if we can overcome little trophy-less Tottenham in the 3rd round as Orient/Spurs draw a home tie with Chelsea/Barnsley.

One thing you can guarantee about Newcastle fans is they'll watch any game they can. They'd probably fill St James Park to watch a training session if they could. Them and Sunderland are pretty good clubs to get in cup competitions.

They didn't fill St James's when we went there in 2016, was a still a decent attendance of 21,972 though

If it's on Sky, there are no streaming options.

Apparently Spurs actually paid for the tests so Orient could take them.

I suspect had it been the other way round Spurs would have basically sent the kids out.

Talking of postponed games - hasn't Orient's been called off tomorrow?

Yeah, and Grimsby after one of their players tested positive

I see Hull refused to be tested when West Ham offered to pay for tests.
