5 goals and 5 subs in the 2nd half - ref takes pity and adds on zero minutes added time! :surr::fl::bow:

That is shameful from Macclesfield. Sorry but it is. I know they are premier league but fuck me 8-0!! Embarrassing.

Bloody hell, that won’t help their confidence which I imagine isn’t great regardless at the moment.

Read the other day that it’s 32 EFL games since they last won a game...can’t imagine which useless clowns were their last victory.... :ffs::ffs:

We were quite simply pathetic. I think that's an adjective that will be used quite a lot in regards to us this season.

Just think of the sing song your players can have on the coach on the way home, i bet hancox is swearing his head off in his local in milton keynes after tonight.

Well, he's not getting any time on the pitch, that's for certain...

West Ham aren’t even that good. Imagine if they’d been playing Man City at the Etihad.

Zero wins in the league and then that. Surely the manager has to be under big pressure already.

How many of your lot went down?
Think they said about 800 on the Comms. Sold 500 in advance but would be surprised if another 300 had bought on the night.

Needs to go tonight in my opinion.

What’s gone on with Rhys Taylor?

He’s been spouting shite on twitter for weeks now. Sly little digs at the club and Yates. Posted something again tonight on twitter during the game. For what it’s worth he seemed a bellend when on loan at us last year.

Feel genuinely sorry for every single one of them. I’ve never had the misfortune of seeing my team lose 8-0, but can only imagine what the journey back must be like with the thought of work the next day and all the piss taking.

Not sure. He started the season well for us, couple of MoM performances. Then we got O'Hara from Utd and it appears the deal is he has to play so Taylor was dropped - undeservedly. Now the last couple of weeks not even been in the squad.

He's always been vocal on twitter but from the outside it looks like he has been harshly treated by Yates this time.

He's definitely one to publicly air his views and can come across as a bit of a twat. He was our best player in the first few games and the only one to come out of games with positives. Then he was dropped abruptly for the Man Utd loaner, which everyone thought was pretty ridiculous. I think his constant tweeting about not playing has now resulted in him being replaced on the bench too (by the 3rd choice keeper we signed as a stop gap on Noncontract terms that everyone forgot about).

Taylor is a total helmet. He’s a tubby has-been who cares more about golf and betting than football.

If only Fitz had scored that chance at the end I could have come home and smashed my house to bits

Macclesfield are properly shite aren’t they. We lost 10-0 to West Ham in the same competition in 1983. So there’s that.

We lost 7-0 to Manchester City 4 years ago and were supposed to be a championship side.

God knows. Less than 25,000 there as well so not exactly a "money spinner" either.
That was the only comfort from last night was the crowd Macc should get around £90 -£100 grand last night.
Gate wise we could have lost at Blackpool in front of a 2000 crowd
Whether it will go to the club or elsewhere is another matter
