Looked a good final, Southampton were very good in the 45 or so minutes that I saw. First half sounded like it was Southampton's if the commentary was anything to go by, too. Got there in the end, though.

Over the moon.

Really good final that. Shame for Southampton, if that first goal stands the game probably goes in a different direction.

Have any of these clueless English pundits apologised to Zlatan yet? "He may have had one of the most illustrious careers in football history, he may have won 13 league titles in the last 15 years and an even greater number of cups, but I haven't seen him play away at Stoke so I don't rate him". Comes to England at the arse end of his career, 35 years old, joining a team on a steady decline, tears it up and wins a trophy within 6 months. Legend.

Congratulations to ManU for winning the League Cup...and congratulations to myself for winning the 1FF League Cup Prediction :D

That was a good League Cup Final. Looked after the 2-0 that it could be boring but suddenly it became a real fight.
Southampton should've won it in my eyes but you can't give ManU a chance in the last minutes. That's deadly. Zlatan was really happy after the match. I like that, shows that a final is a final no matter what some say that it is a cup not worthy. So ManU already qualified for Europe? (just in case all is going wrong in the league and Europa League, like last year's Liverpool)

Love Mourinho, didn't even celebrate with the cup, just half lifted it with one hand and a straight face

Gutted. But it just wasn't our day. The buildup to the match around Wembley was brilliant. Hope I get to experience a day like this again in my lifetime, but with the post match celebrations to boot.

Great way to win a final. No surprise that Southampton were fresher given we've player 3 games since they last played. When we threw away the 2 goal lead I sensed trouble but credit to Jose's men for digging deep.

Good to see Lingard get another goal at Wembley. A big game player and great squad player to have.

Zlatan is truly a machine, his determination is insane. He and Pogba were the difference for us.

You probably won't believe this mate but there was a football expert on popular Liverpool FC forum "RAWK" that proudly told everyone who would listen that he GUARANTEED that Zlatan Ibrahimovic would not score more than five goals in all competitions this season.

We aren't quite out of February and he's on 26 goals.

What one word would you use to describe that Liverpool fan, mate?

The offside is a fucking abysmal decision. Gabbiadani is a yard onside.

Tough pill to take. Can't give them the chances we did though. Zlatan is a fucking machine.

Shame about the United fans mocking our tribute to our deceased owner. Scum. Imagine the headlines if it was us chanting about Munich.

Don't you think it's more likely that they wasn't aware you were flashing phone lights as a tribute?

Like most Man United fans, I wasn't there, but St Etienne supporters were making airplane motions while we were up 4-0 on aggregate, there's probably a video somewhere.
