And so the forum clown keeps on trying to state his point of how he is the only one who is right, and everyone else is wrong.

C'mon ya fud - get over it

It's not even that I'm right and others are wrong, it's that I'm saying something and nobody else is.

It's just posts like that above - that say nothing. Again, why bother? You are at 3, 4 now and they all say absolutely nothing? Why? Will you ever have anything to say again?

If not, probably best to stop posting.

Or enter into a complete fantasy world like the not-so-smart Leo has.

Perhaps, because you're wrong?

Mate, you haven't posted something worthwhile in months, I'm just going to adopt your strategy of posting, which is:

Ignore the evidence, not read the post & come up with the same point I made before and then demand to see evidence & talk in absolute statements.

Do you have any proof that England fans meant it? Show me real evidence where they genuinely meant & believed they were going to win the World Cup after the Panama game. (Let's see you try and ignore this one)

What proof are you expecting here? There are of course thousands of puff articles during the World Cup talking up Englands changes and how "it's coming home", the below one of many:

https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...ictions-win-next-match-when-who-a8436601.html

As for those singing it after the Panama game, that was an anecdote of another poster....

What would be far more interesting, and is lacking, is the evidence of this big conspiracy where everyone knew England wouldn't win, and it was all just one big inside joke. Evidence of that would be great.

But of course you won't provide it. Because that would mean doing something. And your posting style is just say nothing and attack people. You can only do what you're capable of I guess.

I want statistical proof where people admitted to believing England would win the World Cup. Otherwise, you're basing all this on your opinion.

Where are the facts St Juste? But lets get this straight, your proof is an article saying "Odds of England winning the World Cup slashed after 2-0 win over Sweden"?:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

That's absolutely fucking hilarious! :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Perhaps you don't know much about betting - but I'll give you a tip of how it works. Now when Scotland won their group in the Nations League, the odds of Scotland becoming League C Champions would have slashed dramatically. Fuck me, can you imagine if I started saying about Scottish arrogance that because of that they actually believe they're going to be crowned group C champions? (Just to spell it out for you, no I wouldn't, because it's fucking absurd)

RE Panama, Mark mentioned he remembers the song coming about then, you were the only who actually said you believed England fans started to think they'll win the World Cup after that game. Post #227, feel free to read it.

I've provided evidence to you in the past, but you ignored it & in fact even still claimed I didn't give you any. For this point, there is no evidence to give, because there is no conspiracy - you've made it up yourself fella.

Here is the equivalent of what you've done:

I believe the Earth is flat. You're telling me its not. I then say to you that you need to provide me with evidence of your conspiracy to hide the fact that the Earth is flat. As you can't produce the evidence, I come to the conclusion that the rest of the World is wrong, I am correct that the Earth is flat

Statistical proof? I really don't think you know what you're talking about but anyway, if you've ever heard of google, one simple search again returns plenty of results, just pick one:

https://www.businessinsider.nl/worl...-going-to-win-2018-7/?international=true&r=US

Or two:

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/44689721

The article I quoted had a headline of odds, is that the only part you read?

But stop for a second - what is your argument here? That nobody thought England would win the world cup, that everyone was joking when they said "it's coming home", nobody meant it, everyone knew it was rubbish, everyone expected to lose?

It's such a ridiculous position to hold, and provide no evidence for. Good use of the Flat Earth narrative to highlight this, even if you copied it from me.

"I've provided evidence in the past". What an epitaph.

It's clear you won't stop posting on this thread ever, but yet won't say anything. What a waste of your time, but I suspect it really isn't valuable anyway. Next up - the differences between can and will. It was a big inside joke everyone was in on, definitely.

I think it's clear from the way you write that you have a low level of educational attainment.

Thanks, but you've only shown me 1 person in the entire of England who actually believed it. I've heard of Google and showed your facts on statistics before on Croatian immigration, yet you somehow missed that each time. The first article shows 1 person. Good job, only another 54 million to go.

The 2nd article doesn't say it at all. Please learn to read the shit you post. Alan writes that he believes we can win. Not will. The fact you predicted that I'd say this just goes to show that quite simply, you can't even prove your own argument. Or perhaps you don't have the ability to understand the difference of can and will. But the funniest part is Alan Shearer was right, we could have won the World Cup. But we didn't. But we could have, it's very simple. So I really don't understand what you're trying to achieve here.

Don't put words in my mouth, where have I ever said "That nobody thought England would win the world cup". So you not only don't have proof, you start making things up. I'm arguing that it wasn't arrogance of believing we will win the World Cup.

You're the one making the accusation, so you need to come up with hard proof of evidence to back up your claim.

So far you have shown us 1 person, so everything you're posting is just white noise and pointless as there is no proof. Can you even put together an argument that doesn't fall apart at the first hurdle?

Song: It's coming home. -- It's a song. A song we like to sing. Does it mean its true? No.
Singing songs with your mates having a laugh and playing a song means you're having a good time.
Funnily enough this catchy tune extends beyond the football. It has been sung with gusto by guys & gals at the Darts World Championship at the Ally Pally who are.....wait for it.....having a fucking good time & would you believe it, not a football team insight....Or perhaps they arrogantly think Rob Cross can do the biz again but then again he is not a footballer.

It's a brilliant way of bring in some evenly matched and exciting good viewing games, with opponents who would never have met otherwise, being in the same seeding pot makes them too good a match for the usual qualifying groups format

Not sure how that was a penalty for Switzerland, he barely touched him

I’m going for a clip of the heals which is why the attacker then got his feet tangled. Almost certainly not deliberate but probably a penalty.

It was more the delay that resulted in Portugal’s stone wall penalty shout which had me chuckling.

Ah blimey, I didn't see the clip of the heels - I was watching on Mobdro as I don't have sky so the quality wasn't the greatest.

I'll have to rewatch

Have the Dutch been much better though? Their forwards are dire.

Their midfield controlled much of the first half.

Although since the goal we’ve looked much better
