Do Bury fans think they will bring 1000 to Wigan on Saturday? I was thinking 1200-1400 but with the poor attendances at home and the away followings going back to the norm after the early season push I am thinking more like 750-800???
We only took 1400 to Wigan so I'd be very surprised if Bury matched that, let alone beat it.

Yeah, zilch chance. I didn't think we would anyway, but the point I'm making is I expect some decent followings for a club our size in the next few months. For us to have had 5 or more 1k + followings in league and cup by February is practically unheard of for the last decade.
I get your points bud. It's the other Walsall fan who seems to genuinely believe you'll surpass 1000 as an average.

I thought there were a lot more Oldham than that. I have a photo but cant upload it on here. Seemed more like 1800 to me

2202 Bury Fans seem to have gone under the radar because of the 1614 Rochdale fans.
Bury having hammered Colchester on Saturday infant of 3310 home fans lost 1108 fans due to this being a midweek fixture against more glamorous opposition.

With Bolton not doing well I would have though more Bolton fans would attend as that Bury home following is an absolute disgrace.

Not really, 3rd home game in a week 2nd home game priced at £22 for adults which is more than a rip off at the way we're playing. There was only a 20 minute spell in the Colchester game where they just collapsed. Champions League started again and we never get decent Tuesday night gates.

Oh and Bolton fans never go to Gigg Lane.. Well not till next season anyway.

We have nothing to play for. How much are tickets at Wigan? A lot of fans prefer the away games.

We have abysmal gates but then again we don't have a millionaire owner that can surge us through the leagues to bring the glory hunters in.

£15 or £20 at Wigan for away fans. Same as it has been for a couple of years. One of the cheapest games in the 4 leagues to go to.

Bolton fans don't go to Gigg lane???? since when?

If I knew how to post a photo on here you would see it was much more than 1400. There have been a few times I have questioned the away support as being quite a bit over but Oldham seemed to have more as did Port Vale.

Embarrassing but when you're neither fighting relegation, a play-off spot and haven't put two wins together since August you can start to understand why. We'll have a few more back at the weekend.

Careful what you wish for. We were sick as a pig stuck in mid table league 1 4/5 years ago, everyone having a moan, a knee jerk sacking or two later and now look at us. We'll probably be in the Conference next season.

1700 is disgraceful at 3rd tier level. Your team deserves better.

Thankfully we are a well-run club that have a business model which is perfect for the number of the fans we get. Unfortunately this means we lack ambition and are reluctant to try anything radical to try and get more fans through the gate. Oh well we're only little ol' Rochdale after all.

We may have as many fans at the Quigg fight as at the pie eaters

Could be a sub 100 attendance at Fleetwood on Tuesday, regardless of our position

I think we have a few exiles in the north who could push it above 100 to be fair. We had about 150(?) at Wigan if I remember correctly, and that was on telly.

how many Sheff Utd tickets have been sold for Dale on Saturday? Expecting less than 2000 to turn up given recent inconsistent form

True, but Fleetwood is surely more of a ballache to get to, even for the exiles

Wigan average is to take an hammering. I am estimating a sub 100 to Millwall on Tuesday. Its on a beam back to the ground so that will take a few off the travelling support and it would have been 200 max anyway.
Then Colchester where I would estimate 600 based on the Southend away following and then Swindon away....

You're gunning for automatic promotion and have generally had good backing this season so you'll take more than 100. Less would be woeful.

Belated latest table:

Missing figures:

Burton vs Blackpool
Burton vs Shrewsbury
Fleetwood vs Shrewsbury
Rochdale vs Burton
Scunthorpe vs Colchester
Scunthorpe vs Southend
Swindon vs Blackpool

I've given Burton a fair bit of stick this season for not announcing away attendances so it's only fair I call Scunthorpe a bunch of useless tallywhackers too.

It will be woeful but its going to be a small following. Not reached treble figures in ticket sales and cant see many paying on the day down there. The beam back gives people the excuse. Anything below 250 should be considered woeful to be fair, even if it is Millwall on a Tuesday night.

Less than 100 Wigan would be utterly fucking pathetic, I expect it will reach three figures due to exiles mind.

You'll definitely take more than 100 to Millwall, surely. We had a Thursday night match v Wimbledon the season we were promoted from league 2, televised with the club putting on a big screen at Vale etc. We still managed to take over 200. Quite a few people gave us grief for that at the time, but I thought it was a respectable figure for a club our size given the circumstances. I think you're under estimating your away support there.
