Yes they would. They've obviously not got any more fans and they range from around 1500-2500 bury get slightly more.

If Rochdale suddenly found even 1k extra fans on a regular basis you'd just say they were there because they've been doing well. Either way they'd get a slating from Bury fans - who, by the way, don't exactly get belting crowds themselves.

I say fair play to all rochdale fans they've played in the bottom 2 leagues all they're history and more a less play the majority in division 4 they are hardly going to of attracted thousands of extra fans for challenging in the top half of division 3. The best thing is its a supporter of a club who average not even a thousand more than them each year who's slagging them off.

A ground we've been to a number of times in recent years, and we took 1,500+ down on the last away game last season.

Bring on the local games.

Nearest away fixtures visited so far are Bolton and Chesterfield (40 and 60 mile respectively).

Peterborough, MK, Millwall, Gillingham, Oxford, Wimbledon and Southend ticked off.

All local fixtures seem to fall in the last 3 months of the season, so given our form continues, they'll be some fairly high followings around that time...the last 3 away games in particular; Bury, Sheff Utd and Rochdale. All potentially 3,000+ followings.

Quite amazing really that there is a team on a run of form just as bad as ours. We are set to break our worst EVER (in 130+ years) losing streak tomorrow. Wonder which losing streak will go on longer, Chesterfield or Bury?

And as for the obsessed comment (ok now this is going to be very ironic..) take a look at their messageboard... 7 threads on us in the first page! Try to find the word "Rochdale" on the Bury forum you'd be there for a while...

They probably mock you because they have (currently) a better team than either of you. That's generally how football fans mock each other. Anyone who mocks another club over attendances often does it because they support the lesser-performing side. Bit sad really.
