How many Barnsley fans coming to us Saturday?

I'd expect around 1k, they're in superb form and are enjoying life under Little LJ.

Would imagine they will be the 1st team to sell out at your place this year

Remarkably, the only team that have done that is little old Yeovil - albeit it on boxing day and only an hour down the road.

Swindon will sell it out, would be nice for a few others as well - always makes for a better atmosphere.

I can recall saying to one of your fans on the old forum at the start of the season that only yeovil and swindon would fill the 1100. No one travels well in this league at all.

Before anyone says I'm not looking for trouble just wondering why you'd expect 1,000 Barnsley fans when you took like 600 odd to barnsley?

At the start of the season I'd of expected yourselves and Preston to fill it, but it wasn't the case.

No-one travels remarkably in this league, but any club with a 1000+ average away following can be respected.

Different circumstances mate.

I believe it was the Saturday after Coventry where we had 4k, so I guess everyone had forked out for that one. Also - you'd expect more Barnsley at this time of the season, with the form their in and the playoff race their in, every game is huge.

Aswell as that, we've played Barnsley a fair few times over the past few years, I'm sick of the sight of Oakwell, I'll happily give it a few years miss.

I couldn't imagine Barnsley away being very attractive but id take that over macclesfield at the minute

Crunch game Saturday mind - I'll be watching on from a pub somewhere in BS3.

How many you bringing up there?

Understandable that it won't be huge, with it being an early kick off and on tele.

Your away support last season when we were both down the shite end of the table was fantastic - there were about 1,000 blades going proper mental in there and having a good time, of course at our expense.

Blades fans aren't interested in away games past the border of the Midlands, dirty northern bastards ;)

1st away win of the season last year if i remember correctly. By far my most enjoyable trip there was when we were 2 nil up , you equalised in the 95th min only for us to score again straight from kick off. Cracking day out that was

Think our figure at Bristol City was 904 at the end of November, I think that's a pretty respectable number personally, off the back of a 3 match losing run.

No one from down south has brought even half that to Deepdale, although i'm sure that will change when City and Swindon visit for what could be two massive games.

We were given 510 tickets and my understanding is if we'd have sold them quickly enough we'd have been given more, but the potential extra allocation has now gone to home fans. We've sold all but 12 so we'll have "sold out" in that sense but with no pay on the day there'll only be around 500 Reds there. Shame as with POTD we'd take quite a few more I reckon.

We've sold near on 1,000 already for the game at Deepdale I believe. No idea what we will take!

Only ST holders and members have been able to purchase tickets so far as well

We've sold 1k+ before general sale, and most people I know (me included) haven't even bothered thinking about getting tickets yet.

Also - what's the maximum allocation you can give us?
