9 was just a bit of a random figure. It was more a case of pointing out that a lot of clubs do in the top 2 leagues.

Thinking back: Reading, Derby, QPR and Brentford sat down at our place. Huddersfield brought 3,500 last week in the cup and all sat down too so it’s not just the smaller followings. Bradford the same last season.

I do agree that there seems to be a better atmosphere when folk are stood up. Standing seems to be a norm at away games with Bolton which I’m happy to do, though I do feel sorry for the older fans who aren’t left with the option of sitting. Some clubs do allow older fans to specifically get tickets at the front which is good. The sooner safe-standing is introduced, the better for me.

If we can get back into form and bring a few players in to improve the mood around the place, then I think we could take the biggest following of the season to Blackburn. Big away end, not far and not been there for around 30 years will be the first time for most.

Not been following properly so someone might have said it but you’ve got to sit down if you follow us away as you get bollocked by old codgers behind you.

I’ve said this all season. If we can take 4,400 to Bolton, I’m sure we can surpass that at Blackburn - especially if we’re still pushing for 2nd.

Christ. We took 399 just a couple of days before Xmas. Surely more than that...
You were also how away fans should be: loud throughout; supportive of your team, fair and well behaved. You did not shut up just because you went behind.

How many you bringing down to us tomorrow?
Be somewhere between 4-500 probably. Was looking forward to going earlier in the season but trains to and from Plymouth being knackered have put paid to it.

Why is there a strike, rail works or just no return trains to get you back in time for your ovaltine?

Pompey sold around 1.5k tomorrow to our place. Good following but I expected more being a new stadium for them to tick off but that's probably because the standards they normally set.

No idea, replacement buses from Tiverton, 90 minutes each way. Sod that! Think if anyone is mad enough to actually go that route, then the last bus to get back up north on the day would leave around 17.05 last time I checked. I know a few there already doing a weekender.

Er because we took just over 200 not 91. Not brilliant but at close to £50 to a ground we'd been to multiple times and had just registered our record ever defeat the season before, hardly surprising it wasn't more well received. Fair play to the ones who did go as we produced a great performance and win.

£50? Spurs charged about £32 for the lowest category games or was it last game of the season or something? Some teams charged full whack for everyone like chelsea/man utd im sure spurs didn't though?

It was £27.40 when the 300 of you got refunded after the 9-1.

We only managed one less on 9th Dec ourselves. Not much difference between all 3 teams for distance (or travel time)

Engineering works between Exeter and Plymouth for the next few Saturdays, though the replacement bus service wont be much slower.

289 Oldham it was in a crowd of 10,017.

Wigan will take 447 is my guess.
Aye - think Hurikeen is getting confused with Charlton a few days after Christmas which was 399
