Sold out just less than 1,300 for Bristol Rovers. 900 sold for Gillingham, imo that's cracking for a Tuesday night given the circumstances, free travel or not. Charlton tickets on sale from tomorrow, been given a final allocation of 3,030, didn't Pompey have nearly 4k?

Yeh, mate it's an initial allocation. The stand behind the goal fits 3000, if they sell (which I am sure they will, seeing the demand for tickets) then we get around another 1000 in the side stand.

They did, they were given part of the east stand but that was just a ridiculous decision by Katrien on our 25th anniversary back at The Valley to practically make it a home game for Pompey. Although, was obviously done to piss off and make up for some lost money from boycotters.

They wouldn’t do that again as it didn’t go down well and we may well have something to play for ourselves this time round. Thankfully, Roland is off and isn’t interested about cramming in as many away fans as possible for this one.

Seems a bit strange they have just released them for POTD first come first serve, why not just give us that allocation to start with? With it been Blackpool more than that could easily turn up, I thought about going but I can't be arsed going to Blackpool to have too get to the stadium about 2 hours before kick off to get a ticket, totally ruins the day.

That’s a shite excuse... have a few beers... get ticket from ground when you arrive in Blackpool then go to the pubs after that.

We 'sold out' The Valley couple weeks back with official figure 3034. Its very strange as there were at least 100-200 empty seats in that end still.

Ah that makes sense. If 1,000 less away fans at our promotion party is the price to pay for one less club with shit owners then so be it.

When we played Blackpool years ago, they sold tickets on the gate and ended up selling too many and those who’d bought advanced tickets couldn’t get in. So they’ve got form. Will give them the benefit of the doubt.

Why is the allocation Blackpool are giving away fans going up by the month?

Not sure how far your records go but I can’t imagine they even breached 2000 often, if ever.
BTW you had 2,186 at Wall last year so it is feasible you had a small portion downstairs but the upper holds that anyway.

Yeah, seem to recall having the middle block. They tend to close the two end blocks of the upper tier when we play there so makes sense.

Maybe it is but I'd rather not risk getting sent packing which happened last time we were there, off out in Leeds instead far better and don't have to watch our shower.

Blackpool don't have a safety certificate to allow more than 2,200 away fans, so we were told, now they are suddenly letting more in. Some bullshit happening somewhere.

2,331 City, fuck me fair play to those who bothered, even more to those who stayed to then end. We have a few local games left but I doubt many will bother, can't blame anyone who doesn't because the players certainly aren't.

Was it unreserved seating?

Stewards checked tickets on the way in and directed us towards where our seats were but as soon as was passed them everyone just went where they wanted so it worked out well. Think my ticket was row F and I spent the game in row U.

That's my last away game of the season. Waste of money watching that crap. Can't think of a worse performance in the past 10 years.
