1200 tops I reckon, season over, I never seen a decent game between the two. Binned it off for an extra few quid for an all dayer at Notts County.
Sounds like we've already sold more than that we'd sold 1100 before the Bradford game on Good Friday plus I know quite a few people buying Tuesday

Sells for Preston just exceeded the 2k mark - very poor IMO, anything below 3k should be frowned upon.

As an OTIB poster said - a lot will depend on the results of Monday and Tuesday, and the slim possibility we may get promoted there, but we have to travel in numbers there - good ground, huge game - it's basically a party for fuck sake.

Good followings from most clubs this weekend. Very poor by us, it has to be said!

Brilliant support that.

Really?

We took 800 more than that on. Tuesday night last season.

For a team in their position, there really isn't any excuse for not selling out (2,700). Poor following, both vocally and numerically IMO.

Why would we make excuses?, no one actually gives a shit other than you and Bladesman89. Maybe some people had better things to do than go on the football?

The clubs like Crawley, Colchester, Fleetwood etc, who are dare I say it 'tinpot' followings go under the radar, but if your renouned for being a 'Big Club' or 'Bigger Club In The League' such as us and PNE, and one of your followings are 'poor' or less than expected, it gets instantly shot down and criticised, whereas the smaller clubs poor followings just go under the radar.

Get a fucking grip, no-one has to make excuses for not forking out lots of money for a day out at the football, and cover costs of travel, food, tickets etc, such as the Preston fans who didn't travel to Bradford today.

It's a bank holiday you know, one of the few days of work a year? Wouldn't be bizarre for me to suggest there might be family/friends to see, or possibly stuff to do?

With the greatest respect JJH, you said our current sales of 2k for Preston is very poor and anything less than 3k should be frowned upon. And, albeit our game is bigger, it probably takes us 4x longer to get there!

In a game where we can get promoted - you expect that.

Anything below 3k would be exceptionally below par, and that's not really my point, I'm on about the odd few hundred that get put under a microscope to be examined in this thread, such as Preston not selling a few hundred today at Bradford.

I completely agree mate anything less than 3k would be an awful effort, I've said as much on OTIB. But at this stage of the season every game is vital, so it has to be said PNE not selling their allocation to a game 1 hour away is also exceptionally below par, regardless of it being a bank holiday or not. I think the 'tinpot' clubs don't really get scrutinised because everyone knows their followings are poor, so it's fairly pointless moaning about it every week

Good point you make about the smaller clubs, and I completely agree with you, anything below 3k would be poor, but I expect to see a rise in sales after the Swindon game, and we've been given a 3rd allocation, so there should be no hold up on tickets.

Hopefully mate, as long as we win!
