Christ Gassy - when we were last in this division there were only 2 games that didn't sell out, the only reason we averaged 12k that year was because of the stadium redevelopment, we had 2 and a half stands available to us.

The supporters have always been there, but it's taken us a while to get up to speed off the pitch and since we have and become a bit more "family friendly" shall we say, they've started coming through the gate every week. We've averaged around 1,300 for the last 3 seasons away from home, not too bad, especially with the amount of away games we had on Friday nights cos of Sky last year.

I don't think we're massive - I know what we are, and that's much bigger than Rovers in every aspect. A "home to away fan ratio" is really all you've got isn't it, and even that argument doesn't hold up.
We're you not allowed in the Dolman whilst the one behind got knocked down then? (Genuine question)

I dunno mate, I could be wrong but a quick google shows that while in the 3rd division, you never averaged higher than 12,800 so I struggle to buy the stadium as the excuse. Back in '07 when you were promoted you went from 12k straight to 16k - 25% increase, that's a huge difference for a 1 division gap, especially considering you've been a bit of a yoyo team with L1/Championship

I think support for both clubs has always been there tbh, it just needs awakening - so to speak. Looks like you've finally managed to unlock yours with the new stadium, fingers crossed one day (I saw one day as right now it seems about 1,000,000,000 days) we might actually have one and be able to fulfill our potential.

Also, the ratio argument completely holds up for clubs our size/division.

The front of the Dolman was revamped completely so was ripped out.

And yeah, I know we didn't, but as I said it took us a while to get up with the times but now we have people are willing to come and watch every week. Old AG was a proper ground but let's be right it was one big shithole.

I expect Rovers would attract 12k+ every week even in L1 if you get your new stadium sorted as I've always said - but with your current owner in charge I don't think you'll be getting that anytime soon.

Can't argue with any of that, cheers for the discussion - always enjoy a conversation with yourself and ciderup

Notice our figures at Sunderland were missing.

Good effort from Luton tbf. No idea what to expect from the Wombles tomorrow. Hopefully more than MK brought on their few visits, 300 odd.

Scunny away this Saturday sold out. 2,227.

Probably be around 1,500 of us or so at Rochdale Tuesday but I've no idea tbh.

Edit: been given a further 100 tickets by Scunny

Just over 900 sold for Blackpool tomorrow. Shame it isn't on a Saturday.
