A full allocation of 751 Hatters at Kingsmeadow. Quite a few empty seats in the Wimbledon sections. A sign their fans are losing faith perhaps.

Would be a dream if we could average nearly 800 away fans at home park!

I think ours will go down now as we’ve played our ‘close’ away games of Bristol, Pompey, Oxford and Walsall.
Wasn’t it about 400plus last year?

Is that Blackpool figure official from the home side? On Friday the Blackpool site said they had sold out and would have just under a thousand at the game.

Rail strike on Saturday and the red half of Bristol never bring a whole lot more, 800 odd last season and 700 odd season before.

I’d say double the amount is a whole lot more. Shit following, their fans on Twitter have been knocking it which is telling as they usually think their away support could rival Man Utd’s.

Rovers didn't bring as many as I thought they would but their away form is among the worst in the division and they were 19th.

City managed 661 when they were on a 20 game unbeaten run and top of the division in 14/15, and 744 when they were 6th in the championship in 16/17. Stones in glass houses and all that...

An extra 230 tickets for the Plymouth game have gone on sale today, bit short notice considering the distance, but should they all sell would take us near enough the 1,500 mark for tickets sold. Looking forward to it nevertheless, getting the night train which is exciting - it'll be like going to an away game in Eastern Europe but hopefully without getting my head stoved in by someone with a bum bag.

With Walsall and Accrington Stanley tickets out which will probably sell out shortly and Port Vale due to go on sale any day now I could really use some respite from away games.

We've sold nearly 2000 for Walsall in the Cup to season ticket holders.

Funnily enough, that is more than we would have got if we had played this first round game at the Ricoh.

The extra 230 for Plymouth haven't sold out and are unlikely to but still should be around 1,300 making the trip.

2,374 for Accrington also sold out on our end for the start of December. With the Northern Rail strike that one is going to be an adventure to get to. And finally we've been given another 700 tickets for Walsall which I think brings our allocation to around the 3,800 mark.

Superb away support this season from you lot. It’s great what a bit of optimism can do. Plymouth will be an adventure to say the least.

Yeah exactly, at a guess I'd say our away average has near doubled from last season and probably our seasons in the premier league taking the lowest allocations. Goes to show no matter the division if you're winning, you're winning and hopefully that continues for a while.

The owner wants to reopen the upper concourse for the boxing day game vs. Bradford as he's hoping for a circa 40,000 attendance. Hopefully Bradford's bad start hasn't scuppered that possibility too much. There's also a rumour circling that we'll be asking for around 8,000 tickets for Blackpool on new years day. Which I have no doubt Oyston would accept the cash but I doubt the police would be too happy.

Lots of clubs have wanted big followings to Blackpool and have been limited to about 3500.

Pre-season, every City fan and their dog would’ve wanted tickets for this clash, but I can’t see it now - unless we show some signs of improvement.

Still think we’ll fetch at least 2,000 regardless.
