So since Dec 29, we’ve taken well over 9,000 fans to away games. That is unreal support with nearly 1000 miles travelled in that time.

Does this stand still have a capacity of 6,200? Just can’t for the life in me find 2,600 empty seats?

I think the full capacity is 5700. Do they still only give clubs 4700?
According so a few websites, the stand does hold 6,200 - but yes, the maximum allocation is 4,700.

Only a 100 paid on the day yesterday, apparently. :dk:

It’s just a talking point raised on an away numers thread. If you want to talk about the match, kindly refer to the general match thread.

Fairly self-explanatory, really. :woo:

I think it's a bit egotistical to put your own name on a thread title.

Lots of games where we've taken big numbers, only 100 or fewer have paid on the day. It happens.

Stand holds roughly 6,000, front few rows are cordoned off, everyone in that picture is stood up and theres a huge gap on the right of the stand. 3,600 looks spot on to me.

I think it looks more. This was our end at your place first championship season . 3700+ was the official number given. Bradford seem to have more than we did.

That block at the front on the right wasn't in use per the Bradford picture, seems about right for both.

Better than the 5500 Sunderland brought?

Wimbledon sung from minute 1-90. Sunderland sung for 5 minutes after their goal.

Pompey and Wimbledon by a mile the most consistently vocal support at the Ricoh this season.

There are no good atmospheres in this country standing or siting, nobody makes a peep at Valley Parade unless they score, regardless of how many they bring and whether they sit or stand. I'd rather stand but if not, never mind but it doesn't help atmosphere that much imo or the atmospheres in this country wouldn't be so crap.
If you do head down to League 2 we’ll make plenty of noise at your place whether winning or not, very rare for us to be quiet away even on really long treks we’ll always sing, although I do agree with you that most away supports are quiet unless winning, didn’t hear a peep out of Mansfield last week until they scored and then silence again 5 mins after.

Great turnout from Luton on Saturday and they seemed a friendly bunch, we also had a coach load of St. Mirren fans as well as the usual attendance from our close neighbours. The SoL has never been so cosmopolitan.

Probably, the atmosphere down at Coventry wasn't the best. I'd like to say it was due to the early start but not many of our away games this season have produced a great atmosphere. Or our home games for that matter. Think our away crowd suffers the same issue as our home one, people wanting to be part of the atmosphere rather than wanting to contribute to it.

2,235 tickets shifted for Scunthorpe on Saturday and an allocation of 1,822 for Oxford which we are apparently unlikely to get any more. Gearing up towards March where we have Accrington Stanley, Wycombe and Barnsley away in the space of 7 days which will be an exciting time for my wallet.

Thought this myself last week, thought you were surprisingly quiet despite the large following and scoring almost immediately.

Peterborough have given us a further 900 tickets which takes our final allocation to 2,381. Presumably that’s the side and some of behind the goal?

Looks like it, we were given 1600 in the side stand and were refused more despite selling the initial allocation with a week to go so you've done well there.
