Who is gonna win the race for 2nd and automatic 'away fans' promotion then? City or North End?

We currently have 150 average lead, but our last following of 900 was very disappointing at Oldham. Preston wasn't comparatively much better with 2,000 taking the shorter trip to Bradford. They'll undoubtedly have more to play for in the run in but will that edge it?

BC: 3,000 Preston, 1,000 Bradford (Tuesday night), 1,500 Chesterfield.
PNE: 3,000 Port Vale, 2,000 Notts County, 1,500 Colchester.

I'd say you're not far off with our figures, there.

We'll definitely take more to Colchester, if we're guaranteed to be going up.

Possibly 1,500 to Notts County.

89 average lead I think.

I think we're on 1,246

Really? Considering this could well be the game to confirm promotion, I would be expecting 3,000 minimum.

We'll also sell the full 2000 to Chesterfield, but think there'll be under 1000 at Bradford Tuesday.

I'll be disappointed if you don't sell out for us.

Of course we will - you can only get tickets if you have been to 4 away games or more currently though.

How many can you allocate us?

What you've got .... a bit less than 2000. I can't conceive that we'd give you any of the blocks in the east stand too which would mean a fair few seats lost to segregation ... not while we're still in with a shout of the playoffs.

Of course I'll be disappointed ... It's our last home game of the season ... It'd be nice to be a sellout.

Pre-match tickets for our trip to Barnsley sold out as of 8.30 this morning. So that's 1,500.

I know a lot of people that are buying on the day cos they can't be bothered/haven't got time to go down to the ticket office/phone up.

I'd be very disappointed if we took less than 3,000. I mean, we took 5,000 odd to Derby, and even 2,500 odd to bloody Doncaster!!

In my humble opinion anything less than 2,000 of your mob would be poor considering what's riding on the game, and that fact it's only 40 minutes on the train and 50 minutes by car.

Our following to Notts on Tuesday will be pathetically low if we don't win tomorrow.

Oh don't worry, we'll take at least 2,500. Easy. But bar Derby this season, that's tended to be our cap, baring it mind that we've not had you or Sheff United yet.

I think the side needs repaying for their efforts, we've nearly reached the playoffs with a tiny squad of young players, rejects, and a bit of quality - that have just played the right way. I hope that the casuals come out to play, and show them some support. Potentially, we have the fanbase that could bring 4,000 without having to rely on glory supporters - But it happening is another thing altogether.

POTD for tomorrow - and 2,600 sold.

If we don't get 3k it's a poor effort imo.

Well 3,000 is more than Preston have taken anywhere this season!

I personally would have liked to have seen 4,000 Ciderheads up there but a majority do have a mentality of anything North of Birmingham is too far.

Forget Preston, by our own standards it's not great.

3k is reasonable, anything below is pretty poor.

Why do Oldham do this when the large away end means it's unnecessary?
