Really does highlight what a winning and challenging team can do, last year you brought sub 2k midweek to ours and now that cracking figure.
How much were tickets when they played at yours? Was 23 quid for them at Oakwell on Tuesday

Cheaper than the £36 you charge us, think it was £33 for email but I'm going back to August 2017 here so could be wrong.

Sold out 1,100 for Saturday at Bristol Rovers. That’s not maximum is it? Just I notice that the last few to sell were in the terracing part so just wondering if there is still space in there, what the likelihood of POTG is.

Yeah it looks they have, fair enough.

Sunderland had 1400 there recently, so I’m assuming there is space for more in the terracing area. Not that it matters much, we’d probably only have another 50-100 walk ups anyway. Was just wondering really.

50 tickets left for Rovers away tomorrow eve. Can't remember total allocation, think it was around 3,700.

How's the lad who got stretchered off ?
The most unconfident Posh team I've witnessed in 45 years.
1,888 poor considering you were offered 4,000 , bit like Pompey & Luton wanted loads & couldn't sell.
Charlton only ones who did.

Yeah, numbers not great. Don't think we ever wanted loads, many not wanting to pay 27 quid. Shame we didn't play you a few weeks later as the numbers would have doubled.

Thomas is alright.

So you guys could fold at end of season , as could Bolton ?
Not good !

Certainly. Although, if we make the play offs, those franchise egg throwing weirdos (London Wasps) will be begging us to stay at the Ricoh as we'd make them a fortune.

Apparently we'll only get 2100 for Sunderland away due to the trouble in the previous fixture.

Is this true Sunderland fans?

Not heard anything, it would be a bit weird given you could probably sell near double that which the club would welcome the added revenue. Also given it's our only game this season with a bit of spice to it I imagine it'll be part of Methven's marketing to try and get as many people in the ground as possible.

Guessing the decision will ultimately fall to Northumbria Police who haven't got the best of pasts with this sort of thing like when they reduced Man Utd's allocation due to "excessive standing" and routinely reduced Middlesbrough's FA Cup allocations.

Absolutely no way there were only 3,500 empty seats in the home ends.

Vic

The Keepmoat still shows 15231 as its capacity and it was that when first opened. However the Record is 15001

That will never be broken because with the installation of the Big screen and other logicical changes the capacity has reduced substantially and v Palace in Round 5 recently we managed 14010 and it was a lot fuller than our recent game

I believe he was implying it was much emptier than the announced crowd.

Maybe that was his point but I based my reply on him saying "Absolutely no way there were only 3,500 empty seats in the home ends " ....

... and I was pointing out that there couldnt EVEN BE 3500 empty Seats let alone "only" 3500 empty Seats.

Official attendance was 11710 + (his) at least 3500 = 15210

There could not be that many empty seats as the capacity is down to c14000 meaning just 2300 empty seats (ish) at the most. We got 11881 for Black Cats earlier this Season and the Crowd was comparable

The empty seats are Donny’s biggest supporter club to be fair.

I think we're at cross purposes. I'm saying that the attendance was much less than 11,700. If the capacity is down to 14,000 then the attendance was more like 10-10,500.

Hi Vic

I do a Comp each week predicting Gates both home and away - and I forever access the Online Tickets sales to produce a home figure and I watch Forums of whoever we play next to see their Ticket sales

There were a few Posts above re BFC "sales" and that led me to predict 11550. There are times when lots on here suspect that Gates have been "massaged" at a particular Game but when I saw the people in at KO time I knew I would be pretty close. In fact I was closest for 2 points and the 11710 raised no eyebrows with me because it looked "right"

Against Sunderland we had an "official" 11881and the Ground looked a bit fuller but with BFC maybe some Rovers Season Ticket Holders opted to watch on Telly but still counted as bums on seats because they had already paid ?

I did notice though that BFC figure was given as 3653 when I knew you had had 3785 (3735 + a late extra 50) so I dont know how to account for that either as again if they had been sold surely they should be counted ?

Anyway good luck to BFC for rest of Season - a draw was certainly a fair result I thought and would have taken 0-0 before a ball was kicked - and played in front on an empty Stadium - and we could have agreed on the Gate a bit easier lol
