A days notice and we've sold 1600 on a couple of hours. Unbelievable really.

1915 Coventry fans in a crowd of 8901 at Bolton. Phenomenal from both sides considering tickets went on sale yesterday afternoon. Best Coventry following for many years in the circumstances.

Yep, hats out to both sets of supporters.

My pride for these academy lads continues to build - Absolutely outstanding effort from them today! I love my club!

Great atmosphere. Good to see both sets sing against the EFL.

I’m unclear as to exactly what Bolton and Coventry fans were singing against the EFL for? Their failure to apply the fit and proper test to the likes of Anderson and Sisu maybe? As Bolton’s takeover hasn’t gone through yet due to a legal challenge, it appears that the EFL had the power to treat them similar to Bury, yet they’ve been allowed to start the season could be viewed as quite benevolent.

They've never once stepped in.

Their fit and proper test allowed SISU to take over from SISU after we went into administration.

Why expect WW to bring more. They're not massive like BRFC are they. I thought it was a good following
Because it’s one of their closer games & first away game of the season.

And there was me thinking Pompey fans had some common sense about them to work that out. Then again, I guess there is always one that brings the IQ down

Completely different circumstance to Bury, Bury (and let us not not forget how little support they have got) have not had the chief executive of the EFL saying that first, their owner was doing a good job, and then that he had personally checked with Ken Anderson, and he had committed enough money to take us to the end of last season and the summer.....both by the way were way off the mark. Bury's owner, despite saying a number of times he can prove to the EFL he has the funds, has failed to do so twice, our new owners have proven this, they are just awaiting the takeover to happen

So can you be confident that if the legal issue to the takeover is overcome, which is nothing to do with the EFL, that the new owners have the funds to make the takeover happen and successfully? Given how gullible the EFL have been previously over things Bolton, what's stopping them being duped again?

I have zero confidence in the domestic body that governs our game, which is what the Coventry fan was alluding to. And the legal issue, if Bassini (and Anderson), had been banned for life from all football activities (which with their criminality they should have been), we may not have found ourselves in this current issue
