Our fourth away game of the month and our third localish one, we took 2300 to Rotherham, 915 to Huddersfield in the carabao, 1350 mkd and 3120 to you guys. Not cheap and it's school holidays.
Think they're very decent efforts imho, what we took to you was more than our average crowd before the Cowleys arrived.
Not having a dig just surprised you didn’t sell out especially as we are one of the lowest prices for an away day.

We were only given 3,100 last season, think Rovers have reduced the allocation in the last couple of years.

Edit: sorry, 3,750. Still lower than the 4000 odd you used to be able to get.

There has been trouble between the fans below some of the boxes so restrictions have been put in place lowering the away allocation still one of the biggest in League 1

As Luke we sold what we were given , which was 3100.
I know you weren't btw.
We've pretty much sold out whatever allocation we've been given in the last 3 seasons.

Been given 3,858 tickets for Peterborough on Saturday, not sure it's too close to selling out. Communication on tickets front has been very poor this season.

If you had asked for more you would have got them hence why they were on sale on the day, not sure you’re fan base would have been aware of that

Demand obviously wasn't there to sell another allocation which is why you only sold 3100 up until the last day.

Thought Oxford gave Sunderland 3000 last season? Not giving us anymore than 1800.

No we didn't. They got 1,800 just like everybody else.

Our club take the view that even though there may be demand from some clubs for more tickets, we will not increase the away allocation at the expense of home fans having to move from their normal seats. I, and most of our fans, support this stance, and it's refreshing that we don't take the short term coin at the expense of pissing off home fans every time an away club wants more tickets.

And before we get the usual moan about allocation, 1,800 represents about 15% of our capacity and the EFL rules state that the away team is entitled to 10% , so you're getting more than you should by the letter of the law. It's a home game FFS, why should we bend over and give away fans what they want!

Haven't been able to find our away attendance for Fleetwood last week. Do they usually publish them?

StrangelyBrown also is. He's posted August's away figures on our forum and I'm sure he will do here at some point.

884 Blackpool fans who wanted to remind the 5800 travelling Coventry fans that their 'support is shit', 'they had a ground and the fucked it up' and that we had 'empty seats'.
