Our game on Saturday away to Fleetwood, the 1,129 allocation was sold out before it reached general sale.
Nice weekend away hopefully but they seem to be a bit of a bogey team for us.

you need to get out of Fleetwood....Try Poulton or Garstang
Even down the fylde coast

We are only staying one night so it's straight to the hotel and dump the car and luggage.
Then a quick walk around the front.
Find the Wetherspoons, go to the game, pub then back to the hotel.

We can do a bit of exploring on Sunday morning so we might have a look at what you suggested, ta.

8/12 followings over 1k in the 3rd tier is very good.

I think that's exactly it - I was expecting 1,000+ but it's a strange year for us with lots of attractive away fixtures and Lincoln is further down the list for a lot of people than might ordinarily be the case.

I"ve been going the football since about 1973 and throughout the rest of the 70's I'm pretty sure typical away followings were nowhere near as large as nowadays although it was harder to tell back then as fans weren't segregated.
Many games at Crewe in that decade seemed to have next to no away supporters present, especially if a night game.

Edit: Only went and thought this was the transfer thread didn't I...

But on topic, looks like Ipswich are bringing a load down to us in a few weeks. It's been a while since a truly large away attendance, perhaps we can sign a new striker with some of that...

Sold out for tomorrow. Can't see a big turnout for Cheltenham later in the month though at £26 quid a head. I think most folk (including myself) will probably prioritise Stoke in the cup a week later. Shame as I had my eye on that with it being a new ground.

Reckon we’ll have well over 5k I’d like to think. See how the next few weeks go but it could be a fairly big game for both sides. We’ve brought 3,000+ both times we’ve played at MK, neither at 3pm too. Also sold 1500 for Wednesday later this month. We’ve rarely taken more than 1000 ish there so good going from us

Well that will bump up the average attendance for them!! You'll probably outnumber them lol
