That's odd, to say the least. I didn't go to our game at Bristol Rovers (train strike) last week, but my recollection is we were charged £24 for seats, £20 for standing - the latter being almost the nearest thing to a bargain in this league.
Cheers, a mate will get a slap as knowing him he probably meant Ipswich lol!

Must be different categories, Wednesday have 5!

I will add; nice of the Police to change the kick off time so late (5 weeks after the fixtures were released) after supporters had arranged transport (train etc).....

It is. Think we had 6,500 last year too. And with us having them at the end of the season near enough, I’d expect the same again.

It’s a weird away day is MK. Massive ground and decent facilities but it seems a bit of a waste when there’s less than 7,000 home fans in a 30k stadium. Just doesn’t feel right. Obviously MK is still growing as a club with it being relatively new and you’d hope for their sake that the attendances will improve over the coming years because a stadium like that deserves a bigger turnout. As incredible as the likes of us and Sheffield Wednesday (and derby I’d have thought) brining 6k, it would be great if there was double that for home fans. Milton Keynes isn’t a small area so there’s definitely hope.
Here we go

What do you mean by that? What a strange thing to say
Just that it’s been a pleasant week without having you kicking off at every single thing i say. I kinda hoped we’d created a mutual understanding with neither of us responding to the others posts for the good of the board. As I’m sure nobody wants to read us talking sh*t about the other on every thread. So let’s leave it there.

The only hope is they liquidate ASAP, horrific club & fan base, 6700 fans for a 1st home game after reaching the play offs is terrible, meanwhile Wimbledon had similar numbers for their 1st home game after about 6 months without a win & a relegation, the franchise experiment has long since failed, the football frenzy Winkleman promised will never happen, abort mission!
Yawn.

The first game I can go to being Shrewsbury on a Tuesday night. I thought with an away membership that I wouldn't have any issues. However, it looks like even with my away membership without any additional qualifiers to my name that I am going to be out of luck.

I can't go anyway, but Fleetwood on 20th August would've also been a no go.

I'm starting to think that I've just pissed £40 away on a membership that only entitles me to tickets after they're all gone.

Well what do you expect, surely you can't expect to be ahead in the queue against people who membership and attend away games regular.

True, but it's only based on last season and due to other commitments I only got to a few last season. I'd always been quite regular before that, but I do sympathise they have to draw the line somewhere. I just hoped it would be somewhere that included me.

That’s life unfortunately.

Why is it only last year anyway? Ours is a rolling 2 year thing and assumed that was the case at most clubs.

The year before last was ruled out by covid and I believe (to my knowledge anyway) it's the first time we've ever had to put some parameters in place. Typically it was away members, season ticket holders and general sale.

It only really mattered for the Forest games in all honesty. If you had a season ticket and really wanted to go, you usually got a ticket for everything else.

Most grounds are usually big enough allocations to be fair, just the odd one that are under.

Fair enough, we just acted as if covid season never happened and points from previous year were carried over not that we need ours often.

Seems daft to reset points, not fair on those who travelled regularly the year before covid.

Sky Sports moving our trip to Plymouth to a 12:30 kickoff on the Sunday really takes the piss. Ipswich to Plymouth is hard enough to do for a normal game but making it now at that time almost ruins the prospect entirely. Can’t even imagine many trains will run in time with Sunday service being reduced as well.

Did Donny charge full admission price? Thought we’d have reduced ours. £22/20 is too much for League cup round 1. We had a lower crowd than Lincs Cup game v LCFC

We reduced ours to £15 (adult), £10 (concessions) for all areas open. Had a bigger crowd than I expected with 4,373. 873 from Swansea which is a good effort.

That’s ridiculous. On a good run driving you can do Plymouth in six hours from Cambridge. You’re an hour on from us so you’re looking at a 4am departure time at the latest.
