Derby have sold out for the game at our place tonight. Should be a decent atmosphere, even after Saturday's result

I think it's around 1,600, so not a sell out. Our away support this season has been pretty poor compared to other recent seasons, I assume because we had the worst season in our 135 year history last time out - I dunno though. I'll be there tonight regardless.
Hope you enjoy everything except the result - lovely clear blue skies here!

Surprised you've not sold out given your form, but you can understand priorities!

296 Vale at Ipswich. Think that’s by far our lowest of the season but no real surprise.

8,715 (1,706 Barnsley) at Lincoln tonight. Good noise from both sets of fans, nothing really happened on the pitch

261 Wycombe. Thought they’d have brought a few more than that to be fair.

I'm not having a dig, Lord knows we've all followed a club so inept and down early to question why we're even attending on a Tuesday night, but is FGR's attendance of 1,716 last night a record low for the 3rd tier (not including behind closed doors games)?

Rochdale v Cambridge, 3rd tier fixture back in 1974. 588 in attendance.

Wimbledon regularly got crowds towards the 1,000 mark when they were dying in the early 00’s. Their Division One (Championship) game against Rotherham in 2002 only had 849 people in attendance, 227 of which were Rotherham fans.
Funnily enough, they both met again a few weeks later in the League Cup, 664 fans in attendance that night.

I thought there must be a reason that was so low - on looking it up, it was a Tuesday afternoon game during the powercuts.

The Wimbledon ones ring a bell as well because of what was going on at the time.

Looks like Exeter have sacrificed 850 tickets of their potential away allocation with tickets snapped up by home fans in minutes. I'm sure they will still bring a great following though, as leaves around 1300 or so.

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest. 4 defeats in a row, cant even see where our next win will come from.
Still think it'll be 1000+ on the 29th.

Sold just under 900 for Sheff Wednesday on Saturday coming too

What's the level of concern around second-season syndrome at Exeter for next season?

When I was on the My New Football Club pod after our game it was hinted at, particularly following the Lincoln fan mentioning it the week before.

Just need to see who we recruit in the Summer. Caldwell had some good signings in January, and some poor ones, and its likely a few will be off, we just need to find a few more Demetri Mitchell's

Looks like Plymouth sold out for their game at VP on the final day. Fair fucks to them, good old distance and that kickoff time even if it would likely be a promotion party for them.

Decent that, obviously the final set of away fans to go in there, luckily for them as next season they'd get around half that in the Bycars.

Just hope we are safe for it as it could get messy if we get relegated and they are on the pitch and we don't need all that again after the POSF.

Can’t you cash in and give them more seats ? Assuming you are safe by then it’s a dead rubber / so might as well coin it in.

Unfortunately I don’t see how. The end they’re in actually holds 4500 but as it’s an old stadium we are limited to selling 4000. Feasibly the only area in the stadium with enough empty space would be the Bycars end but in terms of getting them in and out the stadium at both ends I can’t see Staffs dibble signing off on that. Also this is going to be the final game home fans will have that end and there’s a few STH’s in there who are already not happy about moving so would end up pissing them off more.

For certain teams in the past we used to give away teams part of the Lorne Street stand (Wolves used to be one) but that unused section can’t be opened until a concourse is installed there so that’s not an option.

Yeah I think we gave Wolves the Bycars once as well in around 2000 but it ended up a dead rubber for them and they had a couple of hundred in there but no chance we can give it in this circumstance, plus even if it is a dead rubber we may not know that until as late as the Tuesday before, if it isn't we don't want to give the away team a huge advantage atmosphere wise and would likely sell out the other ends.

For instance tomorrow the Lorne St is sold out and the Railway had limited capacity as per yesterday so wouldn't fit our own fans in if we gave both ends to Plymouth.

To be honest, your website says no ticket sales on the say. Took me 2 mins to find. Doesn't take much to be prepared! Can't blame Derby for thay.
