WTGR SA, if that was a big home support, you need to close a couple of stands mate. It was dreadful!
Pack em in a bit tighter FFS, you lot are far too spread out to make any sort of atmosphere at your, very nice but not my cup of tea, stadium.

Shall I let you in to a little secret?

If you're from MK you'll know that in the 1970's and 80's it:

Built far more roads than it needed.
Built a shopping centre when there was barely enough people to fill a supermarket.
Built a 60,000 outdoor gig venue when no-one saw it as viable.

I could go on, but you get the point..

Everything about MK is future-proof. It'll be at least another ten years before the ground is busy week in week out.

I agree with you that we should close certain sections. It's worked very well for cup games, but the club don't want to upset ST Holders in those areas by moving them.

It wasn't a criticism by the way, just an idea made through the match day experience yesterday. I appreciate all the points you made but think it would have a positive effect on the atmosphere at your place.

Genuine question. Do you think the atmosphere at mk dons is worse than anywhere else? My answer would be no i think its fucking shite at every ground

Trust me...we can't wait either and we'll do our very best I'm sure!

Can't you just feel the love in this post? :fish:

Had enough yet?

:fish::box::woo::woot:

Stop making him feel relevant.

His attention seeking posts are usually ignored, hence the need to repeat himself.

Hope your team feel the same way, then they'll let us win to help our promotion challenge, not that it matters. They tried the 'kick the other team but fall over if one comes within 5 yards' strategy at ashton gate and still lost

How strange.

Cashis has had it in for us since we turned them over at Ashton Gate. I think it's because we criticised Gary Roberts of diving afterwards (which he did, unsuccessfully).

Tedious bunch of fuckers, aren't you?

You're probably right Blademan. There don't seem to be many noisy grounds nowadays. Yours is actually one of the better ones in my opinion. Millwall is pretty good but nowhere else immediately springs to mind.
Our place, FWIW, has been no more than ok this season but, with the fans packed into 3 sides, it's certainly lively. We really do miss our 'home' end which was one of the noisiest ends around at times. Unfortunately, our club seem to want to distance themselves from the 'ultra' type supporter so I have a fear we are heading for the corporate foam hands, plastic clapper type support which is a real pity imo.
If MK closed 1 side, their support would be less spread out and I think it would improve the overall experience at Stadium MK but it's just my opinion. It must be pretty dreary with 9k in there.

Yes, I've read Bristol City fans' opinions of myself after I essentially told you all to fuck off. Oddly they weren't too positive! I can't fathom why.

The stand what youve knocked down was quality one of my favourites definitely i think west ham is one of the few that still generates at least a bit of atmosphere that will be a real shame when they move proper ground upton park

Totally agree. Unfortunately, IMHO, the days of ramshackle tin roofed ends are gone to be replaced by what I saw yesterday. While it's a blinding stadium, with all respect to MK, it epitomises the way football is heading and I'm not too sure I particularly like it! Maybe I'm just getting old. :(

No your right mk dons ground is very impressive but theres no way id ever wish to go and watch my team in a stadium like that. Its the same with any of them arsenal, man city, leicester, saints, derby, coventry then compare them with spurs, west ham, liverpool, everton, hillsborough, bramall lane i know which id prefer to go and watch a game of football at

How many home attendances is our away following gonna be better than this weekend?

I'm going for 8.
The answer is 7, with the 8th game postponed.

Okay, again - not that I want to sound like a cock, but can we get on and play nice please. I'd rather not have to wade through a load of posts to find simple away figures. I'd suggest stuff like this goes in a 'General League 1' kind of thread, which I'll allow someone else to start.

Its more than what we will take next tuesday

You're still topping the averages and still got some decent local games to keep you out in front, though the 3 league wins since October isn't helping.
