Shifted about 2,900 for barnsley next friday night.

Given it’s a friday night, during summer holidays and on sky it’s a pretty decent effort.

Of course it will also be a novelty as last year we were last in league 1, i-tunes was introduced, sugarbabes and atomic kitten were fighting it out for no1, finding nemo was a hit in the cinema and no-one had ever heard of man city. Richard Cranium was probably also in primary school

Will be skipping between Furloughfield Swindon and this on Sky Sports.

Thinking of maybe 2-2 as a bet.

3294 Stags fans at Barnsley.

It’s a good following, but if you play this game on a Saturday in September you can probably add another 1,000 on top.

Northampton were away to Rovers, mate.

Haha. I was just watching the highlights of league 1 games just now and thought that!

That’s why was surprised, rovers would’ve sold out had it been over way round

Yep, as I said in the general thread - Yourselves, Charlton and Wrexham have been classified as Category A fixtures for ourselves by our American owners for this season.

Our pricing generally is in line with the rest of the division, but I sympathise with your supporters on this one.

No danger of us selling it out but leaves a sour taste somewhat, i hope we reciprocate for the return fixture, tit for tat if you like.

Us home fans are having to pay the same prices, so it's not just away fans being fleeced. I believe if you do the same thing, your home tickets (in similar areas) will also need to be the same inflated price.

It's a bit shit though as they can't be making much more than an extra 10 grand.

I never get this argument as most fans these days are season ticket holders.

Our season tickets are capped so more people can have access to tickets, not sure the number this year but it was 4,500 last season. The stand the away fans are in doesn't have many season ticket holders at all, there will certainly be more home fans being fleeced than away fans.

Not that I support what they are doing, it's fucking stupid.
