Yeah but Stockport fans are well known to being scared of their own shadow, so police probably more comfortable with them bringing more numbers.

I think one contributing factor was how rubbish Blackpool were under the manager at the time and there weren't many home fans. I remember there were issues caused by the fact the stand has two entrances at different ends, two large queues that took ages for people to get in, it was badly organised and they may be unwilling to repeat it. Or you're just not seen as big enough, both are equally likely.

That’s both a really good and bad following.
