Did Barnsley not sell out Rotherham? Looked a lot of empty seats scattered about & seem to recall maximum at NYS is 2500?

For some reason this season it appears that away teams are being allocated less than 2500.

This may be because we now have safe standing for away fans at the top of the South Stand, but also they seem to be keeping the corners clear to avoid problems with crowd control.

Barnsley were allocated 2205 according to their website, there were quite a few empty seats but that may be down to the early KO or people ducking out to watch it on Sky.

Been allocated 460 for Lincoln which seems a bit tight, though with the way we are playing at the moment might be about right!

Just to let you know - you may want to pass it on to the Reading forum - the M25 is shut in both direction at Junction 10 (A3) for the weekend of the 8/9th March - major disruption most likely and diversions will be a nightmare - just a warning.

Cheers Alain.

I did spot that unfortunately, literally couldn't have picked a worse part of the M25 to be closed. Throw in the early kick and also closures on the railway too!

I'm going to be totally avoiding any diversions and going cross country. Looking forward to it though!

More than 600 sold by Cambridge so far for the trip to Crawley, which is not bad given we are still bottom and a long way off safety - amazing what a win does for the supporters...

Sold out for Stockport away which is very good for us, given it's an early KO. We've never had a great away following but it's really picking up which is nice. I remember a Saturday 3pm away at Wolves in the Champ where we took about 300.

27,522 at Birmingham today, away attendance not announced, but a sellout was declared earlier in the week for both home and away fans. We had an allocation of 2,003, so I guess that would be the figure to use in the absence of anything else.
EDIT - just seen an exact figure of 1,930 on one of our sites, which is normally accurate with these things.

Shambles in the away terrace at Burton, you enter from the top but it was so packed people couldn’t get on to the terrace, capacity is probably too high for stand.

It’s always been a shambles. Most weeks it’s fine but get a decent following and it struggles. Just think we had Leeds, Newcastle, villa, etc crammed in there for two seasons in the championship.
We had planned to take the roof off and extend back twice it size olif we had stayed up but we didn’t. NFG still talking off improving the ground as it’s creaking. We had 5000 yesterday and couldn’t cope. I queued for 30mins for a pint at half time - saw loads give up.
The ground is non league.
It also hinders our attendances as believe it or not the seats sell out quickly and not everyone wants to stand so they do not attend. The seats sold out for this game Wednesday.
Although if we go down it won’t matter as it’s 47 Salford fans on a Tuesday and 179 Harrogate fans on a Saturday.

Having had 10/11 consecutive years of league 2 followings you can imagine why we’re so keen to avoid having them visit again!

Don’t worry you will be fine. You played well second half, just can’t finish. But definitely one of the better teams down here this season.

We'll still come in good numbers but I can assure you we are a much nicer bunch than last time we visited...
