The atmosphere is awful you did pick the 2 worst possible games though

In fairness I was in the away end at Brammal Lane with Wolves about 10 years ago, think you won 3-0, and its up there with one of the best home atmospheres I've seen. I was only young but that's about the only time I've felt intimidated at a match.

Can Doncaster release the official away attendence? Be curious to know how many we took in the end.

You mean that Burton haven't published it either? Amazing given how helpful they have been all season (every season actually).

When I used to go to away games regularly I sat because I went with my Dad and Grandad, does that make me a bad fan?

Sorry for not being a LAD, but there's more than one way to enjoy an away game, and getting leathered and screaming my face off just has never been a part of it for me.

No it doesn't make you a bad fan did I say it did but my point stands an away end sat down equals no atmosphere and away end stood up at least has a chance of some.

Not bad for a tinpot pub team ! Actually there were around 200 of our academy players there too but these were counted in with the away fans.
Any chance of Burton fans stopping dining out on this "tinpot little old Burton" tag? I'm pretty sure nobody has actually called Burton a pub team and you arguably train in the best facilities in the country.

It was Steve Evans who labelled us a pub team whilst at Boston United, unfortunately for him we beat them and knocked them out of the FA Cup and shoved it down his throat. We have had several other run ins with him at Crawley and Rotherham.
There are still many clubs fans who refer to us as tin pot but we clearly have earned the right to be where we are and we don't see ourselves as tin pot.

You're a very very small club doing incredibly well and doing it all in the right way. It's not down to money whatsoever it's down to being an extremely well run club and it's great to see. Hope you can stay up its gonna be a very tough ask

tinpot to me is, begging your local neighbours to let them walk around your stadium, asking home fans for handouts to be put in plastic buckets, then slagging the same lot of fans and club next home match

Should be fun for you lot. New grounds, local derbies big away followings etc.. Your season could go one of two ways though

Not seen most of the places since the 1980's, so for me personally I cannot wait. As for the coming season, definitely no comment :)

Agree mate, think most of em have forgot, as they have their love in with blades, whilst still slagging us off and thinking it was great as we nearly went in liquidation. Don't think they'd get a penny if it happened again.

Our allocation at Barnsley upped from 2k to 4k. We won't taking anything like 4k. I'd hope we could push 2000+ though. With the late kick off, £52 on the train, the home leg coming up and it being on TV, I'd imagine a lot of the Vale daytrippers, families and elderly won't bother travelling.

Your first play off in donkeys. Just twatted Vale away 5-0.

You should be taking as many as you did to Vale at the minimum. Hardly miles away is it?

Whilst I agree - it won't happen. We only have a core of 4,000 home fans. Once you take families, elderly and people who can't make it/don't want to drive or pay £52 on the train. It'll be just north of 2,000. If we break anything like 3k I'll be absolutely amazed.

It's not £52 on the train. Walsall to brum £3 then brum to Derby £16 derby to Sheff £10 sheff to barnsley £5 so £34. You will change at brum and sheff.

It's only two hours by road too, straight up A38 and M1.
