Our young lads have done us really proud tonight to take it to extra time. Think we'll lose during ET though as the lads look dead on their feet.

Our injuries are affecting a small squad. We need a bigger squad and fast.
We have Rose out and stokes for up to four months and with the others the squad can't cope and we have to play the under 16's

15 minutes to go in extra-time and the remnants of our squad are leading Watford 2-1.

Good old Gills, dicked 5-0 at the weekend then beat premier league opposition away on the Tuesday.

As expected, we lost.

Nothing to be ashamed of really, we lost to a better side.

Really wish we'd beaten Scunny and got beaten by Watford, but a heck of a result all the same.

Thought the shock was on at the vic for 80 minuites but no it reverted to form and we lost to lower league opposition once again in the league cup.

Gillingham can now join the illustrious list of Preston, Doncaster and Bradford who have all beaten us in the 2nd round in the last five years.

Beat a full strength West Brom on pennos, the 9th higher division knocked out since 2010/11.

Gareth Mac got bullied by Alex Revell, they lost the midfield battle against JJOT and Matty Taylor and Berahino and Rondon were relatively well shackled by Diamond and Nyatanga. Really good all round performance, but West Brom looked really poor. Matt Phillips and Jonas Olsson looked really really classy though.

United away please!

That's all well and good but can your team handle Kyel Reid at an empty Ricoh arena?

Well done Gillingham - said you'd beat us as we never perform at this stage of the competition.

A slightly weaker team but still lots of Internationals you'd think would want to make an impression but wasn't to be from our point of view.

We actually played quite a lot of the game with some kids thrown in which is quite encouraging!
