It's not a reccuring theme - and History won't play a part on the day, although it may in the stands with the fans being fearful of them bottling it.

But - PNE should have enough to do it.

I'm more confident about banging Elisha Cuthbert on an impromptu night out in Wigan than PNE winning tomorrow.

So today is the big day, but is it, this will be my 6th time at Wembley, and im afraid i can not get a wee bit excited about the whole thing, ive seen us win there 3 times and lose twice, so what ever happens today, i really cound'nt give a toss. Dont get me wrong , i will support the team to the final whistle, but at the moment i just dont care what the result is.
May be i will be keener as i get in to my seat, but who knows, i just hope that whatever the score is at the final whistle, there's been a good game and a great advertisment for League 1.

Sick at the thought of it.......or is that just my hangover.
Hope it doesnt go to penalties we will have no chance if it does. We must of missed more than any other team in all four leagues this season.

Good luck to both teams, think Preston will edge it but anything can happen on the day. Just don't leave early if you're only 1 goal down lol.

That table would be more effective with Preston included, not Swindon.

The latter know their place, smaller than even Rovers. Meanwhile, Preston fans on here try to argue they are bigger than us :-)

Long term gains.
You know what they say, 10th time lucky. Preston have got this.
I'd be amazed if we didn't fuck this up so that well known saying could come to fruition.

At least we're not playing your lot.

Is this right?

According to Swindon the ticket distribution was down to the FA/Wembley.

If Preston were able to put all of their categories, including cheap tickets, on sale straight away why did the FA/Wembley impose different rules for Swindon?

Can someone please enlighten me as this ticketing fiasco is a fucking disgrace.
How are the ticket revenues distributed for the match? Could just be Swindon trying to make a few extra quid as they are always moaning about cash.

The authorities can't impose different rules on different teams, thats just rubbish. Someone is lying.

I imagine the clubs have used two different methods for selling tickets. Swindon gone front to back (the cheap seats are the ones high up at the back) and Preston have worked their way round the stadium. I imagine Swindon were expecting to sell out more tickets, which would have meant the cheap tickets eventually open. Would have looked stupid with all of the fans in one area towards the front, and then the odd spattering of people towards the top. Wouldn't have made a very good atmosphere either. Best to have all the fans compacted into the smallest possible area of blocks of seats.

9000 unsold tickets returned by the cheats. What a tinpot outfit.
Come on Preston.

Seems pretty fair to me, if they didn't need them, then it is just common courtesy to allow others to go and watch a game of soccer.

Erm, no, they just couldn't sell them. Even the non leaguers up the road took more to their match than the cheats are taking.
Very poor support IMHO, very poor.
Pride of the West country? Obviously not!
Biggest in the West country? Not even close!

You know to say Bristol City don't care about Swindon, you all seem to talk about them a lot.

Being honest I didn't care about Swindon before this season, had no reason to really. Throughout the season they've been an annoyance. Hopefully Preston can do the job so we can go back to not caring about them again.

If Swindon win, we get to continue the rivalry next year in a higher league.

If Preston win, I get to laugh at Swindon.

Either way, ill be happy!
