Baring in mind I had a break.

Probably the most deserved Play Off win I've seen in a long time, well done Preston. Thoroughly deserved. Makes me feel sick saying that.

The tide turns pretty sharply as you've seen.

Saw this on the 1st page and immediately thought it was bumped by Bristol City fans.

Even they move on eventually, for some topics anyway...

Got to be honest though, very very very poor support from your boys Tom. Numbers and noise.

Lol, only straw Blackpool have left to grab is that more day-trippers turned out for their visit to Wembley.

See what interest the people of Blackpool have when you've lost 9 of the things and the trains are fucked.

Atmosphere was great, you're talking shite on that front.

Quite frankly, I couldn't care less. I was there, with 72 family and friends and we made plenty of noise in the ground and on the way home. Probably the best day following us I've had.

Hope you enjoyed it from the other end of the stadium.

That's what it's all about, memories with your family.

Same as no matter what happens, until further notice I've seen my team play in the Premier League. It's all about enjoyment, but the atmosphere was poor as were the numbers. I've been there five times now. Twice with Blackpool so I can't say about it but the each opposing sides atmosphere was better than yours. As was Bristol Rovers the week before.

You're not exactly reliable when it comes to dealing out the truth though, so I will take your comments with a pinch of salt.

The atmosphere was superb where I was behind the goal.

Like I said, it's going to sound superb when surrounded by it. But in comparison to other games it was very poor.

I wouldn't be arsed either way.

Suprised, I was expecting glowing praise from a Blackpool fan who happened to pay, what £40+? to see his club's rivals get promoted at Wembley.....as you do...

Hang on, Kurt was actually there to watch it in the flesh?

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better. :bdick:

Free ticket and free travel. Otherwise I wouldn't have gone.

Still a bit of an odd thing to do though, isn't it?

Someone offers you free tickets and travel to go and watch your bitterest rivals at a showpiece final, surrounded by their fans all day......and you thought 'yeah, I fancy a bit of that'?

Weird.

You took a massive 4,000 more than us, at a time when promotion for Blackpool would mean playing at a level that most of your fan base hadn't ever seen you play at, and had no travel disruptions to compensate for.

We were playing in the Championship only 4 yrs ago, so It wasn't half as much of a wankfest to us, as it was to your lot.

Considering it was a £100 day for most people before they've even had a drink, he's done well to not spend a penny hasn't he?

I suppose when you're as likable as Kurt, people just throw Wembley tickets at you.

I don't even know who you are.

And yes, free complementary tickets. What a weird thought! Why would I go to Wembly with all my Swindon mates? What a strange concept.

Anyway, all the knobbers I spoke to that day were in a good party spirit. Which is more than I can say for Cardiff and West Ham. I'm glad you enjoyed your day.

You went to our play-off final against West Ham as well?

Do you car share with Roversfan2001?

Well seeing as we played West Ham not that long ago at Wembley, I'd suggest it was then.

Preston Cha, I care very little for your opinion fella. Never will. So I'd save your fingers time.

I can see why he did it. Call me obsessed - but last season I brought tickets in the Mansfield end the game Rovers got relegated to Non-League, and I'd put that up there with one of my best footballing experiences, and City weren't even involved!

If Swindon would have won, he'd be able to come on here and gloat that he got a free ticket and travel to see tears on PNE fans faces, and was celebrating in the other end.

Admittedly - the circumstances are different, as Blackpool fans don't currently have much to gloat about, but come on - everybody loves to see their rivals failing, whatever the level or circumstances. Rovers fans had a massive celebration when we got relegated from the Championship 2 years ago, baring in mind they were in L2 at the time!
