Match Receipts are going to be roughly the same, ticket prices have gone up significantly since those two years in question.

TV revenue will be down to around £1.5m (maybe more given the amount we’ve been in TV - especially with the West Ham game, but negligible figures in actuality.

Sponsorship will probably dip by a couple of million, maybe a bit off the commercial and hospitality too.

Ultimately a £18m turnover is still a conservative estimate.
Is it £4m in TV money you lose when you drop out of the Championship?

That can’t be correct, surely? We got roughly £8m a season in 16/17 and 17/18 - I know televised games earn you more, but not that much more.

I thought it would be about £9m per team in championship and £1.5m per team in league one.

£1.5 million? Not a chance.

95% of EFL games televised are Championship, aside from the International weekends this level barely gets a look in and the revenue reflects that.

95% of EFL games televised are Championship, aside from the International weekends this level barely gets a look in and the revenue reflects that.
Ipswich got £4.3m for the 20/21 season for televised games from football league distributions. I’ve just checked their accounts.

Depends how you look at it. The figure SF_ quoted I would imagine is the straight up payment from the EFL TV deal that each team in their respective division would get. If you include the solidarity payment from the Premier League as well then the £1.5m you quoted above is not far off the right figure.

Is it something like £150k per televised game? Plus the £4.5m payment in the Championship.

This is from 2018, so with an undoubted increases then the fee would be around £9m now I’d guess.
Ah ok. Still pretty mad that £9m is still nowhere near enough to help compete with parachute clubs. Even Rotherham have broke their wage structure in an attempt to stay up this time.
