We'll go down at this rate. Pressley is inept, he thinks we're a lot better than we actually are and has assembled a squad that doesn't seem to be able to play any formation. We don't have the wingers for 4 or 5 in midfield and we don't have the wing backs for 5 at the back, also we have no creativity in midfield and he's done jack shit to address any of the issues in the squad. There doesn't seem to be much pressure on him from the board either meaning he'll probably stick around for a bit and the twats in charge also gave him a 4 year contract in September purely because we went games unbeaten, including three 1-0 wins and four draws. It's all very worrying.

I think you could easily go down, what makes me laugh is the fact that pressley came out after the game and said that they dominated the game, he obviously watches a different game toe every one else

He's delusional. It's so embarrassing. League Two would be a disaster for us, not sure we'd ever recover.

trust me it's a place you really don't want to go, being hammered by the likes of Accrington Stanley (no offence meant accy fans) is awful and demeaning

For what it is worth Crewe were worse than Coventry when they came to Priestfield, in my opinion and they have picked up since then and given themselves a real chance, so you never know.

There does seem to be a general lack of spirit and togetherness at the moment though which needs addressing, and quickly.

massive win for us yesterday and thoroughly deserved, haven't seen us dominate a game like that in years.

Really fear for coventry the were the worst side to visit priestfield this season

We were terrible, especially in the second half, but I honestly believe that had the penalty not been given, we would have at least managed a point.

It hasn't been mentioned, but it was an awful decision!

Definitely not a penalty, but after the decisions of the last few weeks we will take any luck we can get at the moment

I feel for O'Brien in the midfield 3 tbh. He's stuck doing the work of three men in midfield with Thomas and Fleck just going through the motions.

People also repeatedly blame our strikers when they get 0 service.

As he wasn't sacked last weekend I can't see Sisu sacking him at all this season, I can see him here when we go down to league two.
The only hope is new owners and that's as likely as me swimming the Atlantic underwater from the UK to the USA

One Should learn to appreciate the calmness which comes with stability and lack of managerial merry go round...
From an orient perspective..i would love to be in peterboroughs position

Dropping from 1st to 15th in 4 months and gaining 5 points from 36 whilst playing some of the worst football you've ever seen?

I'm not so sure.

The grass is always greener on the other side, must say i loved your chairmans twitter rant, cheered up my day reading that. It's a shame our chairman doesnt know enough english to have a rant.
Oh and your midfielder, Oztumer, quite like the way he plays, from what ive seen

Really sad to see Coventry in that position tbh..

Situation seems to be pretty bad right now,but i think they have the players to hold them up this season..

I said that after our SKY game a couple of weeks ago. O'Brien was everywhere doing all he could and had to be subbed second half presumably because he was knackered. Pressley was basically playing with a one man midfield and 3 forwards who had no support of creativity whatsoever. If Cov persist with that set up I can see them dropping down to league 2 easily. So disjointed with at least 2 outfield players doing nothing.

Our game against Coventry on the final day could be quite interesting at this rate...

I must say, I do always wonder to what extent stability and managerial influence impacts on pitch performance. You can look at our situation through instability, but I think a far bigger problem was the failure to replace Lloyd James and Moses Odubajo, combined with an injury situation I would classify as insurmountable. Granted, sometimes you have someone like Felix Magath who is just batshit crazy, or a Swindon team that inexplicably got relegated.

I know Szymanski has done some work looking into this, but I'd be rather interested if anyone has any studies in addition to this on how managers influence a team. (Szymanski found that wage budget and league positions had a 95% correlation over the medium to long term, indicating a very minimal managerial influence).

TOO MUCH EX LEEDS.

And a manager who didn't know how to handle them.

Sold Charlie Austin and Billy Paynter nearly 70 goals and never replaced them.

Poor result for Orient that, especially as Colchester appear to be fairly average at the moment (to put it kindly)..

Surely Crawley are down? Another good win for Crewe.

After five straight home defeats, today was a refreshing change. By all accounts we didn't play particularly well and, certainly, we've played a lot better recently and lost, but I'll take that.

Four of our next six home games are against Crewe, Notts County, Crawley and Yeovil, so fingers firmly crossed that today can spark a bit of an upturn in home form which would be such a boost to our chances.
