John Egan is one of the best centre backs in this division.
Possibly the best.
Yeah, definitely the best.

Rate all of these players too, and could see them comfortably step up to the Championship.

I think Wes Foderingham is the best goalkeeper in this league.

He's a bit of a c*** but he's basically an Aldi Manuel Neuer. He's a great shot stopper, I would say he's the best ball playing goalkeeper too and he seems to command his area well.
Why do you think he's a bit of a c***?

Sure, he dives a bit but he's a goalie!

That was just poor.

I think he's a bit of a c*** because he likes to make a meal of things and loves to time waste. When you went 1-0 up in the first half at our place he started to time waste, did it at your place too. I suppose Cooper told him to do that though.

If you're on about him fannying around outside the box waiting to use the ball, that's what he does every game.

The idea being not to just hoof it and, more than likely, give the ball to the opposition. Defo not timewasting

I'm going to state something questionable, but I actually think Richard O'Donnell is a top 5 keeper in this league now, considering he was a virtual unheard of say 2 years ago, that's quite impressive. 21 cleansheets this season, saved us against Preston twice in the JPT, won us the game away at County, few other performances like that too.

I cant watch Foderingham and not think of the classic Di Canio press conference after he subbed him through 20 mins. Wes is league one, LEAGUE ONE.

Our best keeper since Digby. The guy makes outrageous saves, is lightning quick and can play a bit. Can be frustrating watching him mess about with the ball but he's instructed to do so.

He looks like a little leprechaun dancing all over the shop. Good keeper though.
 he is small as keepers go. Been superb this year after a disappointing season last year. He isn't the best keeper in the league, but still wouldnt be surprised if he was in team of the year due to conceding the least

That was against us, he had a nightmare in his next game at Deepdale as well.

As for the keeper debate, Sam Johnstone will go on to have a better career than all the names mentioned above, unfortunately he isn't ours and it will take a decent sum of money to get him. He's better than Declan Rudd, I loved Rudd as well.

If be suprised if any keeper in this league goes on to play at a higher level than Ben Garratt will inevitably play at. As said above our next £1 million + export.

David Martin isn't even in the top three of keepers in this league, never mind the top 10 players

Flint and Done above Garner
Foderingham is like Garner, massively overrated for reasons beyond my comprehension. Neither could really make the step up to the Championship and be that good there. Arguably Garner isn't even the best player Preston have, yet alone the best in the league, Johnson and Gallagher seem to contribute far more.

Martin is the best goalkeeper in the league, more clean sheets than anyone else, best shot stopper, quickest reaction speed. Yeah he does have some weak areas in his game like his distribution and that he doesn't command his area as well as Foderingham, but you'd ask the question could he make it in the Championship? Could easily say yes for Martin but no for Foderingham. Who else could really compete? Turnbull hasn't looked as good to me as he's been hyped up to be and Sam Walker doesn't really have a good enough squad in front of him to stand out enough or be given a decent chance at being one of the best.

Wes is almost certainly the best 'keeper in the league, though we do seemed to be blessed with a number of good GKs this season.

Tempted to run a 1FF L1 team of the season thing, like they are doing in the tinpot league.

Stop talking out of your ass, Joe Garner is without doubt and by far and away our best and most important player, it's not even up for debate. I also wouldn't swap him for any other player in this league and would have no doubts about him scoring goals if he was promoted with us. He has improved tenfold as a player from the one we signed on a free from Watford, much more physical, a better provider and much more effective outside of the box.

Wes Foderingham, Sam Johnstone and Frank Fielding are all better keepers than David Martin. Roy Carroll as well, despite being 90.

He's great on my Walsall save on football manager for what it matters, with him and Paul Downing infront i've got the best defensive record in the Championship
