I fancy Liverpool to beat Leicester without too much drama, no Vardy means it's a good time to play them. I thought Leicester were lucky to beat Wolves at home, didn't see the highlights of the Southampton game but they will need to have improved from their last home performance if they want to beat a high flying Liverpool.

Good win for Liverpool in the end, I like the look of Gomez in defence, a good 'un I'd say. Quick, a good football brain, and he really chucks the ball a long way for throw ins! Fair play to Leicester, they made a decent fight back in the second half when I thought Liverpool might run them ragged. Puel made the changes at half time, give the man credit.
I envy the 'Pool fans who can now relax, cigar in the mouth, while the competition still has to play. Always a nice feeling...

All I can say (other than the usual "stop being an eejit Salty mate") is Liverpool are very fortunate Jamie Iheanacho didn't start the game.

Not exactly commanding ,or indeed a definitive victory ,but three points collected from a ground that hasn't always been so accommodating.

Gomez once again our star man ,not Van Dijk's best game that's for sure, so he certainly had to be alert for the entirety of the game.

I was laughed at by Bilo for suggesting I'd rather have Mané at United than Salah.

I showed how big my testicles were by making this statement during the one and only amazing season of Salah's career.

First error since coming to Europe, he's gotten this one out of the system early. No biggie and his statement afterwards confirmed to me he'll be a top keeper for us.

Na mate I'm only jesting, but I think on form over last season he was up there as only Oblak and De Gea had better save percentages in Europe, and his distribution is superb. He adds do much to our side, it's strange us having a good keeper for once! Only Reina has been quality for us in the PL era, all the rest have been kack.
