Yeah, that damn siren and the drone of the 4 Merlin engines of the Lancaster when it flew over SB must have really put the MK team totally off the boil. Maybe you should try something similar at FM to try and win the odd game sometime?

I hear this a lot from fans, but personally I think that is a load of rubbish. When teams start taking corners should all fans now be quiet? Surely players will focus out background noise, I barely notice the siren these days. If managers have even done a half arsed job researching lincoln, who are usually said to be good at set pieces, they will be well aware of the siren. As mentioned above, even if it does ‘put you off’, surely by the second corner you will expect it.

I can understand why people may not like the siren and find it annoying, but don’t agree it will put players off.

While we're at it, we should also ban crowd noise, singing and shouting because that also puts players off.

Likewise when an opposing team is taking a penalty, there should be silence. No whistling. Let the striker concentrate.

I think we use the grey patch to our advantage because you can’t really punish a player for standing his ground.

The goal from behind the net is on the Club's Twitter and Green isn't even near him until the corner comes in. Keeper comes and gets under it.

Personally think that air raid siren is annoying - what do Lincoln fans think of it? I do think it gives Lincoln a very slight advantage at corners, but not enough to be a problem. Saying crowd noise is the same is wrong - thats from minute 1 to minute 90, and players have said they often zone out from it - but an air raid siren is literally designed to be heard above everything else. Anyway, it's not enough of a problem to be used as an excuse for a defeat.

We play 'Chelsea Dagger' every time we score at home, and that's annoying and even our fans hate it.

It’s like I said before; I don’t really notice the air raid siren anymore (unless it’s not there) so it doesn’t bother me. I think it’s quite unique and I understand that some people may not like it, but if it annoys away fans I’m all for it!

Likewise - just something that's been there for years that I don't really notice too much.

It's only been mentioned sporadically by opposition fans since we got back into the FL, and they're sides we've faced before and it was never mentioned previously.
