Phew. Some close bits towards the end there, especially with Fuchs' throw ins, they're a big advantage.

A tight win as expected, and a classic example of why Salah is so important. A massive 3 points.

Good for my dreamteam I guess.
Liverpool played it strange for the last 10 minutes. Risky to sit that deep when we hadn't really caused much trouble before that.
Puel still got plenty to think about.

I guess we have officially entered Salah's dry patch, which was always going to happen at some point. He would have buried that a few weeks back.

Not to be captain hindsight here but he misses a good few chances almost every game. If he could finish properly his numbers would be absurd. Today alone he saw four absolute clear cut chances, all of which a world class finisher would put away.

Good game overall, if a bit ineffective. Roll on 1-1 at Burnley.

Phew I hate Liverpool playing Leicester they are always in the game and usually play a good game against us. Hanging on at the end but got the result!

I'm convinced we'd have taken a point at best from that game last season. I don't mean Leicester in general, rather the way it panned out over 90 minutes.

I wasn't just talking about this game at that point, rather a couple of times recently where I would have expected him to score and he hasn't. He just didn't appear to be as on the ball (excuse the pun) as he had been previously. But then he pops up and scores two despite that. The sign of a world class player.

According to Wiki he scored 34 goals in 83 appearances. A fantastic return for a winger but not as good as he currently shows at Liverpool.
