He's scored a lot of late important goals for City this season which shows a good temperament in crunch situations.

Hmmmm... a tenuous conclusion to draw, but hey, I did say he's had good moments and ordinary matches. And in a weird way, you support that by saying he gets late goals, but to get to that 89th minute winner he seems to go through 88 minutes of often pretty ordinary first.

And if he's going to get so easily rattled if the Kop get on his back - which they will - perhaps Pep might think about, <ahem> 'rotating' the team..... take the opportunity to same rest him.... that sort of thing, the next time they go to Anfield.

You don't think scoring late winning goals is a sign of a good temperament in a player?

In hindsight given Aguero's non existence and lack of other option, I would have stuck Sterling up front yesterday. Utilise his pace against Matip and Lovren and to a certain degree keep him away from the touchline with a stadoum full of Scousers baying for his blood!

Lose your first game of the season in mid-January and suddenly the team is flawed all over. This is the best squad in the Premier League for years and years.

Don't think anyone suggests the squad is flawed however it's clear when teams stick the hard press on it highlights our short comings in key areas.

Thankfully domestically and with all due respect there isn't many teams that will be able to expose it to the extent Liverpool did, however it's something that needs addressing if we want to go toe to toe with the Barcelona's and so forth of the world.

Anyway it wouldn't do to be a City fan without having at least one grumble all season!!!
