And a red card.
It's a problem I could live with as both are completely different players. Salah has devastating pace and a clinical finish, but his shelf life may be limited as when he gets older and loses that pace he may find goal scoring more difficult. Kane is a different animal, he doesn't rely on pace to do his thing, and if you are a Spurs watcher like me you'll appreciate Kane's holding up and assists. I don't think that Kane will be pissed cos Son scored two and he didn't score any, he provided a brilliant assist for the second goal. Anybody can see how valuable a player like that is; can play from midfield to provide assists, he can pop up to score from an angle in the penalty box or get up to head it in. He is solid gold...but I'd still like to see Salah in Lily White!Having Salah and Kane in the same team would result in problems I reckon. Both are alpha players.
Meh, De Gea pulls saves like that out on a weekly basis - you need to do more than copy the Spaniard's ridiculous top knot to get anywhere near his level IMO.
Neither does Salah. He above all relies on his off the ball movement, and if you look at the goals he's scored not too many included his burst of pace, though obviously some did. But it's a lazy analysis to say he's reliant on it.Kane is a different animal, he doesn't rely on pace to do his thing
You may be right mate, I watch the games on TV and it is amazing how much more being live at the game tells you. I'd still say pace is a big thing for him though, as it allows him to beat defenders to the punch with his "off the ball movement". The slower players will find those positions covered by a defender before they can unleash a shot. I admire him tremendously btw, I'm not claiming he is a one trick pony, pace is one thing but you need skill, control, and presence of mind to put the ball in the onion bag. Salah has all of those, he is a class act.Neither does Salah.
