To be fair, achieving top 4 is a bloody expensive comb, and the result of this match might not decide that but it's big all the same. Especially for United, missing out on the CL two years on the bounce would be unthinkable, especially after having no European worries this season and being knocked out of the League Cup by MK Dons so early in the season. Quite frankly, if Liverpool or any other team end up taking a top 4 spot at United's expense, there is absolutely no excuse for it given the money spent and the relative lack of fixtures. It would be fantastic.

If one team does have to win it, I think it's better for Arsenal that it's Man Utd. As much as giving us a bit of breathing space in third would be nice, ultimately the goal in the league at the moment is securing a top four finish. For a change....
