Going to take time this. They were so poor in that first half and needed a guy getting sent off for them to start to play cohesively. Improved a bit in the second half but couldn't take their chances. Benteke had some good chances however looked a bit rusty, but he'll get going soon enough I'm sure.

Can't see them putting on a better performance and getting a win at the weekend either.

I usually buy EL final tickets when they go on sale in January. Had the tickets for the 2014 in Turin but decided against going for financial reasons (getting to Turin from Munich is surprisingly long) while last season I was proper broke. This year it will be in Basel and looks alright. It could be one of those where the stadium could welcome its home team like Feyenoord in 2002 as the Swiss do take this seriously. I also find that Austrian football is up and coming and sides like Rapid Wien could cause a few problems. Liverpool could go far in this as Klopp will want his first trophy asap but I really think that Dortmund and Schalke will have a right crack at it.
I just hope that it's the same old Seville bollocks. It won't be Zenit at least as they look certain to top their group in the CL.

Regarding the game, I was told the performance wasn't too bad. The one I really do feel sorry for is merseyboyred's nephew. Poor lad.
