Will be in Uk (London) 23 Nov and 7 Dec looking for a game to go to. Somewhere easy to get to either in or close to London. AFC Wimbledon games are too hard to get seated tickets for, (wife likes to sit). Dont mind how far down the leagues it is, got to have a club shop so I can buy a shirt or two. Suggestions please.

National League fixtures should be released Wednesday 3 July, Isthmian/Southern Leagues towards the end of the following week. Saturday 23 November is FA Trophy 3rd qualifying round so fixtures for everyone below National Division will be dependent on the earlier rounds of that competition.

Borehamwood at home if they are playing. Excellent value for money and a raucous atmosphere each home game. I'd go there.

Seconded. Their fans are nothing but a class act too; I remember this one time (in band camp) where one of their fans couldn't help himself but run on to the field of play to tell our captain Francis Duku what a wonderful job he was doing.

Me too! So missed going to that fantastic stadium last year and paying a pittance to either stand OR sit (yes you get both options for the same miniscule entrance fee). The atmosphere - as Master D quite rightly pointed out - is second-to-none in this league. But get there early as the stadium fills up pretty quick and you really don't want to miss out on one of the best (if not THE best) match-day experiences outside of the FL.

And if you’re really lucky you might get a nugget of their chairman’s homespun words of wisdom, something that will stay with you for a long time afterwards.

Sure if you emailed AFC Wimbledon and explained how far you had travelled they'd sort you out a couple of tickets!

Dislike button needed here.

Should be following your own team man, I’m sure considering the distance you’re travelling - Your club will be able to guarantee tickets.

As above, ground is too small, but club is fixing that, pity Darlington is so far away, would not mind spending some money at yours after what you have been though.

Tried that last time, only got tickets because a season ticket holder looked after me, club said no.
That's crazy, and really poor customer service in my opinion. What's a couple of tickets for someone coming from the other side of the globe.

Our club get some stick but even they would accommodate something like this. We have fans coming from Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Ukraine, Belgium etc throughout the season and they always get in the programme, out on the pitch at HT etc

Borehamwood is no good, away on BOTH days. any others even if lower down the leagues.
All the National South teams will be playing in the FA Trophy 3rd qualifying round on 23 November, which won't be drawn until a couple of weeks beforehand.

National League South fixtures for December:

I can only assume the recommendations for Borehamwood were a wind-up. That's the last place I'd recommend for a neutral visit.

Got no idea if it was a wind-up, sounded genuine to me. FA Trophy is a pain, but might throw up a good game/venue. thanks for info.

Why don’t you wait til next year when Wimbledon will have returned home and it might well be a bit easier to get a ticket for a match?

Yes, seats are hard to get but there are always returns from ST holders who can't make a particular game, plus a waiting list. We're at Bolton on 7 December but home to Gillingham on 23 November. As someone above said, email the club, explaining you want X tickets for the Gills game and you're coming from NZ. Exiles, particularly those coming a long way, are usually accommodated - just give it a go.

I see a kind Tranmere fan, unlike various WUMmers has warned you off Bore'emDead! Sutton, where it all re-started for us, would be a decent game for your December date (if they're at home). Gander Green Lane isn't too dissimilar to KM and they're a good bunch.
