assume you're in the South Stand at ER? I was in the Kop for Leeds vs Sheffield Utd and couldn't hear them even when they scored, the sound didn't travel across. Could see the scenes were quality though.

More out of curiosity but do Wolves fans come across as loud to home teams? Obviously seems loud to me on the occasions I go away from home but unsure if it comes across the same to the home ends.

As for the Lancashire teams, Burnley would probably be the loudest, Yorkshire is Leeds, London teams probably West Ham.

Tbh, we're not even that loud at home. The Steve Bull, North Bank and Billy Quiet are like a crematorium.

Agreed, the North Bank only ever sing... well.. "The North Bank" in reaction of goading by the South Bank. The Billy Wright politely clap if we score a goal and the the Steve Bull is also quiet (mainly due to the lower tier being away fans). The atmosphere in the South Bank is great though.

There's a few decent lads in the Prem forum (Bournemouth, Watford and Huddersfield fans on there) but the rest is full of boring plastic Man Utd/Liverpool fans. If I wanted that I'd join twitter.

Wolves and Leeds are the only two teams in the division with a proper home atmosphere. Even Leeds used to be shite when they were barely getting 20k.

You'll get told off for calling them plastics, even though they've never been within 100 miles of Anfield they are just as much a supporter of their club as you are!

Leeds are best home and away tbf , as proved for the England match last week, most in sheffield don't like them but they are a proper bunch.

Not sure they are great at home, until they relocated to the South Stand anyway.

Away very loud, big numbers, there is an edge.

Always hated em, some through the stories I'd heard, other through personal experiences with em but they are fucking passionate and loyal.

Before I'd been to ER (prior to last season) and it was always dead but this season it was as loud as any home atmosphere for a regular league game I've witnessed as an away fan really.

I fucking hate Leeds as well, hope Biesla is a massive failure an lasts as long as he did in his last two jobs.

I am hoping that QPR is louder this year. We have a positive feel about us and we have a new cheap section right near the away end so hopefully we can actually get an atmosphere going. We use to have one so I don't see why we can't get it back. We have QPR youth products coming through, a decent manager now so a couple of good results and it should rock again.

It probably won't but can't be any worse than the last few years.

All the usual suspects have been good. Forest two years ago have been the most impressive though. Loud as fuck that day. No one has come close to Man Utd though for consistency. markwwfc1992, you must have had some shit away support at your gaff, because the last two years we've been shit at your place. We can be very loud, but we can have long periods of silence when we go a goal down.

Not keen on them myself, but they have proper away support. Their home support is good again too.

You were better than most, you always sell out and make a decent amount of noise, especially since you lost the last 2 at Molineux.

Not in this league but Portsmouth in April was probably the loudest home atmosphere I’ve ever experienced at an away game. Takes a lot to impress me and it wasn’t their average home game with Paul Cook’s return but on a noise level they were unbelievable that night.

Leeds usually make a lot of noise at Ewood, as you'd expect. West Ham were good the other year too, though a 5-1 win helped that a bit.

I'm much more interested in who are the quietest away fans. For me it would have to be Sheff Utd, Preston, Bristol City. All dead quiet. We needed extra defibrillators when Preston came to town.

Apart from you don't actually attend games so you're spouting bollocks, as per.

Bit difficult getting to games from West Africa. But lighten up, eh? :)

Edit: and come to think of it, seen two of them home and away in the last few seasons and Bristol City at home.

Birmingham,Swansea are the loudest I've heard at the lane , both fa cup games both had 4k there, villa were the loudest/best last year, On a consistent basis Leeds, Wednesday,Birmingham are all pretty good.
I randomly went that Swansea game. Loudest support I've ever heard.
