There could always be a Mansfield, Morecombe, Biden treble on Tuesday. A result which would upset both Devon_Lad and masi

Grimsby v Barrow is an interesting one;-
A defeat for Barrow and it's 2 steps forwards and 1 step back.
A draw would be ok - having won the last 2 matches it would be consolidation.
A Barrow win however would give us momentum going forward and potentially see us going on another run like last season.
Despite Grimsby fans being very confident on their website I'm leaning towards a Barrow win - particularly having seen those graphs of chances made/conceded etc where Grimsby are in the area you really don't want to be in whilst Barrow are in the sort of area where play off teams usually are. Barrow will be without Josh Kay still - but could have 2 more players back to strengthen the bench. If confidence means anything in football Barrow will be looking forward to this more than Grimsby who have struggled lately. 3-1 win to Barrow. Connor Brown, Matty Platt and Brad Barry with the goals.

The availability of Hayden could also be a factor. He’s by far our best centre back and although Hunt did alright when he came on, I still think we’ll need Hayden in that back line to stand a chance against this lot. But I’m thinking if it was a head injury he may not even be allowed to play 3 days later even if he us fine? I’m sure there’s some kind of rule like that.

Also think it might be an idea to start Furman. Think this is the type of game where we might need that extra bit of experience in midfield, particularly if we have a weakened back 4 with Hayden out.
Reasonable idea, so we might set out

Farman
Tanner Hunt McDonald Anderton
Guy Furman Mellish
Alessandra Kayode Patrick

If we're to keep our formation and replace like for like as much as possible.

I think though Alessandra and Kayode are both more comfortable in a strike pairing. So potentially 4-4-2? Keep Riley in midfield and keep Patrick on the bench.

We've been a bit lacklustre last couple of outings but not terrible, never know it might click and Orient be a bit off instead. Can't really read those stats things but it seems xG expects us to start doing well so I'll just trust the stattos are on to something, as my suspicion is Orient should shade this.

Yeah, but if Exeter lose there won’t be armed militia on the streets.

Will there?
Riots in America are going to happen regardless of the result IMO. If Trump wins on the night, and it looks like he will (The early votes are what will probably give Biden the win, if he does win - Which I'm doubtful of) then Trump supporters will be going crazy. If Trump wins, you'll have the normal suspects - BLM, Antifa etc etc up to their normal tricks of rioting and looting.

Anyway, and slightly back on topic - I'm all for rioting in Exeter if we fail to beat Derek Adams' Morecambe.

If you rioted at St James Park you would cause 50k worth of improvements!!

I don’t know how good we are/aren’t yet. We’ve had a good start but that’s all it is at the moment. I just want us to keep picking up points and ignore the table tbh.

Salford will be awkward as they’ve obviously invested a fair wedge. Only saving grace is Paul Scholes is there. I’m backing us to win tonight with a midfield pairing of Boateng and Hoolahan.

If this bet comes in that would signify a substantial gain for an oft-vilified troll and supporter of outdated backwater politics with strong ties to bumpkin territory...and also Trump will have won the election!!
Someone's gotta campaign for Grimsby to return to the rich fisheries coastal town it once was.. im happy to do the hard work for you;)

Oh North and North East Lincs would be solid Trump territory if we were in the US, I have absolutely no doubt about that! For what it's worth, by the way, I didn't totally disagree with everything you said about the NHS (depsite being a snowflake leftie myself). I just didn't get involved in that because the thread was too far gone by the time I read it.

I’m ridin with Biden and a u’s win tonight.

Bonner has some tricky decisions on who to pick as we are pretty short of players in cm, I’d probably stick with what we went with on Saturday.

Big game for us tonight, 4 of our next 5 league games after this look pretty kind on paper, so 3 points here will put us in a very good position. Got a nagging feeling Salford will do us 2-0 though.

Bookies won't allow me a Trump/Exeter double, ffs. So I've gone for 3 singles.

Trump to win Nevada. £50
Exeter to win -1 against Morecambe £50

And Trump to win the electoral college and remain as President £100

C'mon ya beauty

A tough game at home to $alford. We have injury problems in the middle of the park which is a big concern. We massively miss Digby who is a few weeks away from being fit again after breaking a cheekbone vs Bolton but hope we can get away with something tonight as we deserved a point against Crawley.

I don't know too much about them but looking at their results they don't concede too many. Need Mullin back at it tonight. Going for a 1-0 win.

Thinks that what I’d go with to be honest assuming Hayden is absent.

l beg to differ about you deserving a point at Crawley - you only get points if you equal or better the goals scored by your opponents - this time you unfortunately didn’t

Toughest game for us so far v Carlisle this evening. Don't think Flynn will change starting XI from Saturday. Still have a few out injured Taylor, Collins, Janneh and we missed Dolan big time v Harrogate last Saturday.

Townsend
Shephard Cooper Bennett Demetriou Haynes
Labadie Sheehan
Twine
Amond Abrahams

Subs: King, Devitt, Proctor, Willmott, Baker, Webb, Ellison

May be some changes for FA Cup game v Orient this Saturday if loanees are cup-tied by their clubs - Cooper, Twine, Devitt and Proctor.

Not sure who Webb is but that's a strong team/bench there. Had no idea Ellison had signed for Newport. Could be a shrewd signing that, he seems to be the sort of player who'd be great just being around the place.

Hit the bar twice, one off the line.
I think you had two shots on target.

You got lucky.
